“I wanted to plan something really, really special for our first kiss."
Blake Lively is opening up about her kids’ differing personalities.
The 37-year-old actress, who shares four children — daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2 — with her husband Ryan Reynolds, doesn’t talk about her children often.
But she offered some rare comments during a recent appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

While she admitted that “boys are crazy,” she apparently lucked out with her littlest one.
“My little boy is so romantic,” she said of Olin, adding that he says, “Mama, my love!” whenever she walks into the room.
“He’s just a dream,” she continues, per People. “I mean, like, they’re chaos. It’s chaos at all times.”
When asked if her son is more loving than her daughters were at his age, Lively said that it’s “just different” with her son.
“He just, like, announces that I’m the love of his life at all times, which is just the best feeling in the world,” she explains.
Lively also joked that she gets dressed every day “like a girl in middle school,” hoping she gets noticed.
“I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I hope he thinks…I hope he says something,” she said.
Lively opens up about finding comfort amid the chaos
Later in the interview, Lively was asked if her daughters ever criticize her outfits.
“One of my daughters has the same birthday as Napoleon and Jennifer Lawrence,” she said — referring to the former French military leader (Napoleon Bonaparte) and “The Hunger Games” actress.
“So, if you imagine, like, those two blended,” she jokes.
She goes on to describe her daughter, who she didn’t name, as the “funniest person in the word,” but that she would also “rule the world with authoritarian leadership.”
And while she admits to having an “intense year” away from home, Lively described her kids as her “lifeline.”
“No matter what day I’m having, I have to be Disneyland every day for them,” she says of her life at home. “It’s the best. I mean, it’s chaos, but it’s… yeah.”
Lively and Reynolds met on the set of “Green Lantern” in 2010 — a movie they both starred in — and started dating the following year, per People.
The couple tied the knot in September 2012 and have welcomed four children since.
Lively confirmed their fourth baby’s arrival in February 2023 after sharing a photo of herself without a baby bump on Super Bowl Sunday.
