Chris Evans and wife Alba Baptista have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Alma Grace. The couple, who wed in 2023, are now officially a family of three.
Luke Combs and his wife of five years, Nicole Combs, announced some happy news on Tuesday, in that their family of four will soon become a fivesome.
The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post set to Combs' unreleased song, "Days Like These." In the short video clip, Luke and Nicole are sitting across from their two young sons outside in the grass, who are in turn sitting with their backs to the camera. When Nicole pulls out a series of sonogram photos from behind her back, both boys throw their arms up in the air in excitement.
As the clip fades out, the family can be seen walking away hand in hand, leaving the sonogram in the foreground.
"Third time’s a charm! Baby #3 coming this winter," Nicole captioned the post.
Combs and Nicole (née Hocking) married on Aug. 1, 2020, after more than four years of dating. They welcomed their first son, Tex Lawrence Combs, on Father’s Day in June 2022. Just over a year later, Nicole gave birth to their second son, Beau Lee Combs in August 2023.
Coincidentally enough, Combs is currently in the United Kingdom, where he's part of the lineup for the Grand Ole Opry Live in London, marking the show's international debut for the first time in its 100-year history. And as Nicole shared in her Instagram story just moments after posting the news, she received word from the couple's manager Sophia Sanson that Combs was performing "Days Like These" at the same time she posted the pregnancy announcement.
"When [Luke Combs] is in London playing 'Days Like These' at the exact time I posted the announcement" she wrote under a screenshot of a text conversation between herself and Sanson, accompanied by grey heart and face holding back tears emojis.
Ahead of the birth of their first child, Combs admitted to People that he was "a little nervous" about becoming a dad for the first time.
"I got a lot of stuff to do. I got a lot on my plate … I'm uncovering things every day," he said at the time. "I'm buying all kinds of clothes I didn't know existed. It's a lot of stuff man. I didn't know what a bassinet was. But that's a thing apparently. A lot of new words I'm learning."
Combs said that to help him prepare, he had been reaching out to friends to solicit parenting advice.
"It's more like, 'What do I need to be doing right now?' I realized the baby just doesn't need me at all," he continued. "I'm just there to clean stuff … It comes out and it's like, 'Why are you mouth breathing all over me? I don't need you to be around.'"
With a third on the way, it seems safe to say he's gotten the hang of the whole parenting thing by now.
