Suffice it to say, the raunchy track has been one of the more talked about since Swift released the album on Oct. 3.
Kim Kardashian’s kids’ names are unique — but not as unique as they could’ve been.
During an Oct. 15 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with host Alex Cooper, the 44-year-old mom of four was asked to reveal any of the baby names she considered for her kids but didn’t use.
And she didn’t disappoint with her reply.
"So when North was born, Kanye wanted to name her Noriega," Kardashian said of her ex-husband Kanye West (who goes by Ye) and their 12-year-old daughter North West.
"And so then we went with, like, Noriega, Norie, North."
Noriega is one of three parishes in Ribadedeva, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.
The name is believed to come from the Latin word norea, meaning "waterwheel" or "mill.”
While Noriega isn’t used in the United States today, Nori (given to 251 baby girls in 2024) and Norie (given to 22 baby girls in 2024) are a little more common, according to the Social Security Administration.

Other variations, such as Norielle, Anori, Noriah, Noriyah, Knori, Noria and Norine are also used today.
In fact, most of those variations are more popular than North, which was given to just eight baby girls in 2024 and less than 70 baby girls since 2013 — the year Kardashian gave birth to North West.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are also parents to sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 6, and daughter Chicago, 7, per People.
Kim Kardashian turned down one other baby name idea
While North ended up on the birth certificate, Ye initially had his sights set on another name for North.
"Or he wanted to name her his mom's name, Donda, and we considered that,” Kardashian said, referring to Ye’s mom Donda West — who died unexpectedly on Nov. 10, 2007, according to NPR.

Kardashian went on to reveal that she turned the name down because she wanted North to be unique.
“I'm a big believer in, like, your own name," she added. "And so you're not having to live up to a standard of what someone thought they wanted you to be or like, pushing you into someone who you're not."
The exact meaning of Donda is heavily debated, but it’s often translated to mean “worldly” or “joyful.”
According to the SSA, Donda would’ve been even more unique than North — having been given to less than five (if any) baby girls each year since North was born in 2013.
As for the rest of Kim Kardashian’s children, Saint was given to 1,195 baby boys in 2024, while Psalm was given to 177 baby boys and Chicago was given to just 12 baby girls, per the SSA.

For reference, Kimberly (Kim’s full name) was given to 1,285 baby girls and Kanye was given to 14 boys.
