Hilary Duff can't picture Lizzie at 40 — but she did share the age that might finally bring her back.
Actor Noah Wyle, who plays Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch on medical drama The Pitt, won big in more ways than one this weekend.
The actor took home the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the January 11 awards ceremony.
Excitedly, Wyle took the stage to accept his first Golden Globe after over 30 years in the industry.
“What a truly humbling moment this is,” he said when accepting the award. “Oh my goodness. I am so incredibly grateful and I don’t know how to say all my gratitude for 54 years in 60 seconds. I’m indebted to so many people. I’ve been inspired by so many people, many of whom I’ve got the great honor of being nominated with this evening.”
“I’ve benefited from incredible teachers and I’ve received some incredible advice from some very good friends,” he continued in his speech. “I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way. I’m so grateful for this.”
Wyle also thanked all of the real-life healthcare workers for the tough but necessary jobs they do in their communities that inspire shows like The Pitt.
For any actor, an award like this would be a special moment in their career, but Wyle came home to an award that was arguably even more special.
On January 12, Wyle took to Instagram to share a snap of his Golden Globe sitting proudly alongside another award made out of tinfoil given to him by his children.
On the tinfoil award, the label read “Noah Wyle” followed by “Best Dad” written in permanent marker, surrounded by hand-drawn stars.
In the caption of the post, Wyle wrote, “What an incredible night. My heart is full.”
In the comments, friends, family, and fans alike all congratulated Wyle on the sweet moment and the big win.
“It’s true. I was a voter on the second win ❤️” Wyle’s 20-year-old daughter Auden commented on the post.
A fan page for The Pitt chimed in to say, “The trophy on the right makes it even more sweeter! You deserve this and so much more!! You’re the best!!”
Wyle’s former ER co-star, actress Ming-Na Wen, added, “Congrats, Noah!! So happy for you! But I think the aluminum foil one is the best award of the night. One of a kind, like you. 👏👏👏❤️”
