Audrey, not to be confused with Aubrey, is a diminutive of Æðelþryð, which is composed of the Old English elements æðele, meaning "noble," and þryþ, meaning "strength." It was a top 100 baby girl's name every year between 1921 and 1940 before returning to the top 100 in 2003, where it has remained ever since. Singers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have a daughter named Audrey McGraw, but the name can also be inspired by Audrey Roloff, the wife of "Little People, Big World" star Jeremy Roloff.
