It also debuted on the top 1,000 for girl names in 2009 and has been a top-200 girl's name every year since 2020. Singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson named her daughter River Rose, born in 2014, while actors Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara welcomed a son named River in 2020, who was named after Phoenix's late brother. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen also revealed that her new son's middle name is River, but the first name remains a mystery.
