There’s no better way to ring in the holiday season than the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This year’s event — the 99th edition — airs Nov. 27 on NBC and Peacock from 8:30 a.m. until noon in all time zones. If that’s too early, an encore presentation will air on NBC at 2:00 p.m. in all local areas.
The telecast will be hosted by “Today” veterans Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker, while Andrea Meza, Aleyda Ortiz and Clovis Nienow host the Spanish simulcast on Telemundo.
Those who can’t wait until Nov. 27 can tune in to the “Countdown to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” which airs live Nov. 26 at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.

As is tradition, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade route will start on West 77th Street & Central Park West and end at Macy’s Herald Square flagship store on 34th Street in the heart of New York City.
Fans are expected to be lined up and down the 2.5 miles of the official parade route, but those watching at home will only see what’s happening outside of NYC Herald Square, where the cameras are set up.

Those cameras are going to be very busy with all the entertainment happening around them.
This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade lineup features 34 balloons, 30 floats, 26 performers, 11 marching bands, four balloonicles, 33 clown crews, nine performance groups and 15 speciality units.

The parade will feature quite the star-studded lineup of musicians and performers to keep you and your family entertained on this special day.

Is Macy’s debuting any new floats or balloons this year?

The larger-than-life balloons are one of the biggest attractions at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
While kids will get to see a lot of their favorites, including Spider-Man, SpongeBob SquarePants and Gary, Pikachu and Eevee and Stuart the Minion, there are also a few that we haven’t seen before.

Not only that, but Derby Tiger from Netflix’s “K-Pop Demon Hunters” will debut as a mid-sized balloon and Sussie — from the same movie — will debut as a balloonicle.
The three other balloonicles include Cheese of a Whimpy Kid by Abrams Books, Frost Pips by The LumiStella Company and Happy Hippo Triple Stack by Macy’s.
