This latest development comes after a search warrant was made public in June.
A mother is recalling the moment she learned that her 8-year-old daughter had died in the Texas floods.
Lindsey McLeod McCrory, 50, was in Europe with her sister on July 4 when the Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in less than an hour — resulting in at least 27 deaths at Camp Mystic, an all-girl Christian camp.
McCrory’s daughter, Blakely, was one of the many campers and counselors who died due to the flood.

In an interview with People, published July 13, McCrory opened up about the moment she learned her daughter was missing. Confirmation of her daughter’s death didn’t come until three days later.
"They're probably having a blast,” McCrory thought when she first heard there was flooding at the camp.
“Because that's what I remembered: ‘Oh, rainy day, stay in your cabin, play board games, or listen to music, whatever. It's going to pass,’” she continued.
McCrory, a former Camp Mystic camper, was at the camp in 1987 when it experienced a flood.
But it wasn’t until she received a phone call from a friend that she realized this wasn’t a normal flood.
After learning that some campers were “not accounted for,” McCrory rushed to her voicemail inbox where she found a message from Camp Mystic confirming that her daughter was missing.
McCrory and her sister immediately booked a flight back home on Saturday, July 5.
It wasn’t until Monday, July 7, that she received a phone call that her daughter was found deceased.
“I think the most terrifying part of this ordeal was the confirmation that she was unaccounted for originally,” McCrory told People.
“Because I always had this fear of someone kidnapping her, and just not knowing what happened to her. That was the biggest, the fear of the unknown,” she added.
According to the Independent, the death toll has climbed to 132 in the week since the flooding began. Rescue operations are still underway in some parts of Texas.
McCrory shares final letter her daughter wrote at Camp Mystic
McCrory’s daughter was “ecstatic” to attend Camp Mystic as a third-generation camper.
She was a huge fan of outdoor activities, such as horseback riding, swimming, basketball and fishing, according to her mother, and was looking forward to spending a month in nature.
“It was like having the biggest sleepover you can imagine as a little girl, because you're in a cabin with 11 girls who become your best friends, right?” McCrory told People.
She further described her little girl as a “live wire” with “a fun, spirited attitude” and a knack for pranks.
Among the personal items that were recovered from her daughter’s cabin was a letter she had written to her mom just days prior.
In the pre-filled letter, shared by People, Blakely described camp as “amazing” and shared her excitement for tennis, horseback riding and land sports.
The letter served as a reminder that McCrory’s daughter was enjoying her final moments.
“I'm just so grateful to keep her spirit alive,” she said. “I want to be the type of mom that honors my daughter, and keeps that spirit close, and not forget, not put pictures away.

“That's not me. She's so close to me, and I know she's watching me right now, and keeping me close,” she added.
