Ashley Tisdale is a mom of two and a business owner.
But before that, she was best known for originating the role of Sharpay Evans in Disney’s hit trilogy “High School Musical.”
Now that she has daughters of her own, Tisdale said in a new TikTok that her oldest, Jupiter, has discovered a love for the “High School Musical” movies and its music.
“I don't know what kind of karma this is, but Jupiter saw my niece in ‘High School Musical’ the play last weekend,” Tisdale shared in the TikTok video.

“When she's seen the movie in the past like she never really cared about it. But I think seeing my niece in the play, play me (Sharpay Evans) has just changed her so she had to watch all three movies.”
As Tisdale continued, she said Jupiter “will not stop listening to the music. It's playing in the house right now. When I'm on walks with her, she asks for me to play it. When I'm in the car, she asks for me to play it, specifically ‘High School Musical 2.’”

The actress said Jupiter’s favorite song is “HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUA’A,” a song that Tisdale admits she hates. “I’m having to listen to it over and over.”
“Also, she screams out, she screams out in public. ‘I’m Sharpay’s baby.’ I just feel so embarrassed when I'm walking into a store and she's like, ‘We’re all in this together.’ I'm like, ‘Oh, my.’”
Although Tisdale says it’s “really sweet” to see her daughter taking an interest in her work,”after, like, a good week straight of listening to the music again, it's like, ‘Okay, we're good. We don't need to watch this again.’”
In addition to Jupiter, Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, are also parents to a second daughter Emerson, who was born in September 2024.
