Bryce Dallas Howard has no shortage of “great men” in her life.
The 44-year-old “Jurassic World” actress had plenty to share while describing the 10 “loves of her life” in a new interview with People, released May 5.
Her father, director Ron Howard, and husband, actor Seth Gabel, were two obvious additions to the list — as was her childhood dog Frisky and husband’s best friend Josh Gad.

But even they didn’t get the stamp of approval that iconic actor Henry Winkler received.
“I’m a very lucky woman. I have a lot of great men in my life. My dad, my husband, my husband’s best friend — these are great men,” she told People in the interview.
“But there’s something about Henry Winkler that is very, very, very magical,” she added.
As she explains in the interview, Winkler is Bryce Dallas Howard’s godfather — and his wife, Stacey Weitzman, is her godmother.
“He’s just the most loving human being. And he is so present. And he cared so deeply — and he’s also really funny and charming and charismatic and wonderful,” she says of Henry Winkler.
“He’s like a father to me,” she continues. “He really, really is.”
Henry Winkler, of course, starred in the iconic sitcom “Happy Days” with Ron Howard in the 1970s and 80s.
Bryce Dallas Howard was born in 1981, three years before the show’s epic run came to an end.
Her latest comments come less than two months after she joined her father and Henry Winkler on the “What In The Winkler?!” podcast, hosted by Henry Winkler’s daughter Zoe Winkler.
On the podcast, released March 19, Bryce Dallas Howard opened up about her two godparents.
"Henry and Stacey have always been the most incredible godparents, very supportive," she said. “Everything wonderful that my parents are, and everything wonderful that my parents aren’t.”
Henry Winkler went on to share a story about Bryce Dallas Howard during her college days.
At the time, Bryce Dallas Howard was attending New York University and was trying to get the attention of another student — her future husband, Seth Gabel.
"You said, ‘I know this guy, and I don't know how to get him to pay attention to me. How do I get him to pay attention to me?’ ” Henry Winkler recalled.
“I said, 'Bryce, all you have to do is breathe. You're beautiful. You're talented. You’re strong,'” he added.
Bryce Dallas Howard then joked about breaking into hives when she first met Gabel.
“I went home and I wrote in my journal, ‘I met the man I’m gonna marry,” she explained — further describing Winkler’s story as the “Genesis” of her relationship with Gabel.

In addition to growing up with two fathers, Bryce Dallas Howard also opened up about having two husbands — sort of — in her “Loves of My Life” interview with People.
“Josh Gad and Seth Gabel… Those boys are the loves of my life,” she said in the interview, referring to her husband’s best friend and fellow actor Josh Gad.
“I’m married to Seth, just to be clear. I’m married to Seth,” she added. “I’m not married to Josh Gad… Although it genuinely feels like that sometimes.”
Bryce Dallas Howard goes on to clarify that Gabel and Gad have been friends since kindergarten.
“When I started dating Seth, it was paramount that I got Josh’s approval,” she told People. “Which took a little something, for sure.”
So, how did she win him over? With a pink and fruity bath robe.
“Josh came into the city one day and we met for the first time. It was quite cold outside and he hadn’t brought a coat,” she explained.
Her then-boyfriend asked her to grab Gad a coat — so she grabbed him a bath robe.
“I don’t know why I did this. I’m not even like this,” she said of her decision. “But I brought him down like a pink, fuzzy robe with these big fruit things on it, like stitched onto it.”
“So I made him wear a bath robe around the entire city the whole night,” she added, “and I think I won him over with that.”
Bryce Dallas Howard started dating Gabel in 2001, per Us Weekly. The couple got engaged two years later and tied the knot in June 2006 before learning she was pregnant on their honeymoon.

The pair share two children together — an 18-year-old son, Theodore Norman, and 13-year-old daughter, Beatrice Jean.
