“It was just immediate. You’re like, 'That’s my granddaughter.”
Cam Newton asked — and Jasmin Brown delivered.
The 36-year-old former NFL quarterback, who won the league’s MVP award in 2015, shared some exciting news during his upcoming interview on the “Tamron Hall Show,” which airs Oct. 16.
In a clip shared by “Us Weekly” on Oct. 8, Newton revealed that he recently welcomed baby No. 9.
“He’s already here,” the doting dad said when host Tamron Hall asked about his growing family — which includes seven biological children and two stepchildren with three different women.
Cam Newton’s baby news comes five months after his girlfriend Jasmin Brown revealed her pregnancy in a Mother’s Day post on Instagram.
“Feeling ALL the Love, kicks and elbows,” Brown wrote in a caption alongside a photo of her showing off her baby bump. “Cheers to our growing tribe.”
Newton and Brown, who started dating in 2022, according to People, are already parents to a 1-year-old baby girl born in 2024. The couple have not revealed the baby’s name publicly.

Newton and Proctor went on to welcome daughter Sovereign-Dior Cambella in 2017 before adding two more sons — Camidas Swain, born in 2018, and Cashmere Saint, born in 2019 — to the family.
He also shares son Caesar Lorenzo, born in 2019, with photographer LaReina Shaw.

Cam Newton admitted to wanting more kids six months ago
Cam Newton’s kids have always played a big role in his life, despite a few complications along the way.
"Family, they give me purpose, but I made my mistakes," he said during an episode of “Special Forces” in February, per People. "Still making mistakes."
One of those mistakes was welcoming a child with Shaw while he was in a long-term relationship with Proctor, which he opened up about on the show.

"We had just moved into a house and everything was kind of perfect from the outside in, you know?" he said during a confessional.
"And my relationship with my oldest daughter has suffered. All she kept asking was, 'Yo, why?' " he added.
Despite the mistakes, Newton was open about wanting to add to his family in the near future.
“Did I tell you I want more?” he said in an interview with People, published Feb. 6 — adding that he doesn’t know how many he wants, but will leave that decision up to God.
"But jokingly, and not jokingly, they really give me my purpose and there’s so many different things that I look at to say, they’re my refuge. They’re my peace. They’re my encouragement,” he added.
He made a similar confession during an April 2024 interview on “The Club Shay Shay” podcast.
“I always wanted a big family. I come from that. So, I want that,” he told host Shannon Sharpe. “And I owe it due diligence to each woman who (has) given me that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, he opened up about why he considers Proctor’s two older kids his family.
