“It’s just a special way for me to get involved.”
Christina Haack is showing off her sense of humor.
The 42-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram on July 19 to share a photo dump of her “summer so far,” which featured photos of her with her three kids and boyfriend, Christopher Larocca.
“Basically just eating and laughing. Canceled looks good on me…,” she wrote in the caption.

The post comes just one week after reports indicated that Haack’s “Christina on the Coast” show on HGTV had “not been renewed” for a sixth season, according to Us Weekly.
“Only kidding only kidding,” Haack added in her caption on Instagram.
HGTV fans were quick to share their disappointment and shock over the cancellation news.
“So sad you are canceled. Your show was amazing, and it was nice to see how the kids are growing up, too. Your design is outstanding,” one fan wrote in the comment section.
“I don’t understand HGTV at all. They’re taking off so many good shows and leaving crap on. I’ll miss you!” a third fan wrote.
“I can't believe they canceled your show. I loved watching it. You should see if Magnolia Network will pick you up,” a third fan suggested.
According to Us Weekly, “Christina on the Coast” wasn’t the only HGTV show to get axed recently.
“Battle on the Beach,” “Farmhouse Fixer,” “Married to Real Estate,” “Bargain Block” and “Izzy Does It” were all reportedly canceled by the network in June.
Us Weekly also reported that “Flipping El Moussas,” which features Haack’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, was “not coming back” for a third season.
And while “The Flip-Off,” which stars Haack and the El Moussa husband-wife duo, is believed to be “back for a second season,” Us Weekly added that “there is no filming date or air date yet.”
“I’m convinced that you, Tarek, and Heather were carrying HGTV and they made a really crazy/bad decision,” one fan commented under Haack’s recent post.
“The 3 best shows on HGTV were Christina on the Coast, The Flipping ElMoussas, and Izzy Does It. WTF is HGTV doing?!” another fan commented.
Haack celebrates her 42nd birthday in Las Vegas
The good news is it appears Haack and the El Moussas are enjoying themselves amid the chaos.
The three HGTV stars and Larocca recently took a 24-hour trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Haack’s 42nd birthday — and Haack recapped the trip in a 15-second video on Instagram.
El Moussa and Haack met in 2005 while working as real estate agents, according to People.
They started their own house-flipping business shortly after, got married in 2009, welcomed their first child — daughter Taylor Reese — the following year and debuted “Flip or Flop” in 2013.
