“There were so many life moments that I wish I could have been there for.”
Ciara’s eldest son is more than just a Wilburn — he’s also a Wilson.
The 39-year-old singer shares three kids — Sienna Princess, 8, Win Harrison, 5, and Amora Princess, 1 — with her husband Russell Wilson, whom she married in 2016, according to People.
She also shares son Future Zahir, 11, with her ex-fiancé Future, who was born Nayvadius Wilburn.

Ciara and Russell Wilson sparked plenty of speculation earlier this week when the two attended the US Open in New York City with Future Zahir and Sienna.
In a photo posted to Wilson’s Instagram Stories, he called his stepson “Future Wilson.”
"Mrs. @ciara Wilson Future Wilson & Sienna Wilson," the post read, according to TMZ.
Fans were quick to take note of Future Zahir’s last name as speculation grew about whether or not Wilson had adopted Ciara’s eldest son.
But, according to TMZ’s sources, that wasn’t the case.
“Ciara has full custody of her 11-year-old, and ‘Wilson’ was legally added to his name a few years back. He still has his dad Future's last name Wilburn in his full legal name,” TMZ reported on Sept. 4.
The legal name change comes more than a decade after Ciara ended her engagement with the rapper.
Ciara and Future confirmed their relationship in January 2013, got engaged 10 months later and welcomed their son in May 2014 before breaking things off later that year, according to BET.
She started dating Wilson in 2015 and they got married the following year, per People.
Russell Wilson has spoken highly of Ciara’s son with Future
While it’s unclear when the legal name change happened, it’s clear that Wilson plays a big role in his stepson’s life — and vice versa.
In a 2024 interview on the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast, Wilson opened up about the first time he met his future stepson.
“When I walked in the room and saw, you know, little Future, who was 9 months at the time, and he crawls in my lap ... it was like, ‘This is going to be my responsibility,’” he said on the podcast.
He went on to call that responsibility a “gift” that he was ready for.
“Stepping in to raise a child with [Ciara] and realizing that, ‘Okay God, I know she's the one for me.’ But also too, I'm gonna take this responsibility as well,” he added.
More recently, on May 19, Wilson took to Instagram to celebrate his stepson’s 11th birthday.
“We’re so proud of the young man you are! 11 years old and you somehow teach me something new every day!” he wrote in the caption.
