“Her law degree may not be real… but she did go to Stanford for a bit.”
Six children was always the goal for Gordon Ramsay, but now his wife wants one more.
The 58-year-old celebrity chef, best known for his fiery persona on shows like “Hell's Kitchen,” welcomed his sixth child (son Jesse James) with wife Tana Ramsay in November 2023.
He later revealed that having six children “was the dream” in a 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight.

But dreams often change — and that’s certainly the case with Gordon Ramsay’s family.
On May 12, the “Kitchen Nightmares” host and restaurateur opened up about his growing brood in an interview with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on their hit talk show “Live with Kelly and Mark.”
“That’s a lot of work,” Gordon Ramsay said as he struggled to list his kids’ ages, which range from 26 years to 18 months.
Ripa then highlighted the 17-year age gap between the couple’s fourth and fifth children, which prompted the chef to reveal that he and his wife might not be done just yet.
“Tana wants one more!” Gordon Ramsay said after crediting his wife for wanting to expand the family.
“Yes, #7!” he added as the camera panned to a smiling Tana Ramsay.
The couple have been married for nearly three decades after meeting at a party in the early 1990s, per People. They reconnected several years later and tied the knot in December 1996.
Their first daughter, Megan, was born in 1998, followed by fraternal twins Holly Anna and Jack Scott in 1999 and daughter Matilda (who goes by Tilly) in 2001.
In a 2008 interview with “The Herald,” Tana Ramsay revealed that she and her husband “knew (they) wanted a large family.”
“For it to happen that close together is amazing,” she explained at the time. “When I discovered I was expecting Tilly I remember thinking, ‘Oh my God, how am I going to manage?' But you do."
Of course, their parenting journey didn’t end there.
The couple experienced a miscarriage in 2016, but have welcomed two sons since, including Oscar James in 2019 and Jesse James in 2023.
Gordon Ramsay opens up about life at home with a family of eight

During his appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Gordon Ramsay talked about how life has changed since welcoming baby No. 6.
"We moved out of the house three years ago,” he told Ripa and Consuelos. “We spent three years getting this beautiful house redone for the two little ones, and we sort of garnered more space.”
But after several years of peace and quiet, the chaos eventually returned.
"We had our own floor, and all of a sudden I come back from filming and the elder four have moved back into the house,” Gordon Ramsay explained.
“Just when you thought it was all nice and peaceful — two boys, Tana and I — man, there’s now 8 of us in that house," he added, describing the daily scene inside their home as “insane.”
Gordon Ramsay’s comments come more than a year after he claimed that he and his wife were done having children.
“Yeah, number six. No more,” he told ET in January 2024. “I’m gonna be called granddaddy at sports day.”
He likened his family life to “running a restaurant where no one goes home,” but described being a new dad (again) as “extraordinary.”
"Really Extraordinary, just blessed,” he told ET. “I'm also sure I'll be the oldest dad at the drop-off at school, so I'll keep my cap and glasses on.”
But, despite his fiery persona on TV, Gordon Ramsay says he’s much more sensitive as a father.
“The kids have brought the most emotion out of me,” Gordon Ramsay said in a September 2023 interview with People.

“It’s funny, isn’t it? Because everyone thinks, ‘God, you must be an absolute a** to be at home with.’ [But] Tana’s super fierce, an ex-Montessori school teacher,” he added. “So I’m the softie.”
