"King Kylie" is returning to her throne in Kylie Jenner's latest Kylie Cosmetics campaign.
Influencer Trisha Paytas has officially announced she will be joining the cast of Beetlejuice The Musical on Broadway this November.
Paytas is best known for her many viral and meme-worthy moments online. She first rose to online fame due to her YouTube channel in the early 2010s where she posted everything from fashion hauls to rant videos.
Over the years, Paytas has also spoken about her struggles with mental health and her experiences trying to break into Hollywood from a young age. Paytas has always had a passion for acting and an interest in musicals, making countless videos about various Broadway shows on her social media channels over the years.
Now, 2025 seems to be Paytas' year for making her Broadway dreams come true. Back in February, she starred in a one-night-only benefit concert titled Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream at the St. James Theatre in New York City.
The performance featured guest appearances from famous Broadway stars and showcased Paytas performing musical numbers and sharing her journey from YouTube to the stage.
Now, Paytas will be joining a traditional Broadway musical production for the very first time. In an October 10 TikTok, Paytas finally confirmed the big news.
"The rumors are true! I don't know how the rumors even got started, I don't know who knew what, but it is true: I am joining the cast of Beetlejuice The Musical! That's right, I'm going back to Broadway!" the influencer said in the video, squealing excitedly.
"My first big Broadway production and I'm playing Maxine Dean for three weeks at the Palace Theatre in New York City," Paytas continued in the video.
The character Maxine Dean is the wife of Maxie Dean, the Chairman of Botco Industries, who is invited to dinner by the Deetze family.
Paytas, who has been a longtime fan of the musical, has been thrilled at the opportunity to be part of the show.
"Beetlejuice the musical has been so near and dear to my heart," Paytas wrote as part of a Instagram caption announcing her role to her followers there. "Broadway and live theatre have always been my escape since a young girl. I so wanted to be a part of the stories with sequined costumes, catchy music and endings to everyone’s story perfectly wrapped in a bow. I can’t wait to play."
While Paytas is only doing a three week run in the role and it is a small part, this could lead to even more opportunities on the stage for Paytas in the future.
Paytas will be part of the cast for performances starting November 4 through November 23, with tickets available at beetlejuicebroadway.com.
