“So Amari stays in LA with me, and I have chosen to take care of him and be there for him.”
Larsa Pippen doesn’t feel a need to fix what isn’t broken.
The 51-year-old “Real Housewives of Miami” star appeared on the June 24 episode of “The Jason Lee Show” when she was asked if Kim Kardashian is still her youngest daughter Sophia’s godmother.
Despite the fallout between the two reality stars, it appears Kim Kardashian’s role is still intact.

"I feel like Sophia has a good relationship with Kim," Larsa Pippen said on the show. “They’re loving to her, so I feel like I don’t want to tarnish that. It’s fine."
Larsa Pippen shares Sophia, 16, with her ex-husband and Hall of Fame NBA player Scottie Pippen.
The former couple are also parents to sons Scotty Jr., 24, Preston, 22, and Justin, 20, from their 21-year marriage, which lasted between 1997 and 2018, according to People.
While Sophia has maintained a close relationship with her godmother, the same can’t be said for Larsa Pippen.
"I’m not the same person I was yesterday and I feel like I'm good,” Larsa Pippen confessed to Lee when asked if she has any interest in reconciling with Kardashian.
According to E! News, Kardashian and Pippen have known each other since 2010.
The duo’s shocking fallout went viral in 2020 when eagle-eyed fans caught wind of Kardashian and her two sisters, Kourtney and Khloé, unfollowing Larsa Pippen on Instagram.
Larsa Pippen returned the favor by unfollowing the three Kardashian sisters.
Pippen and Kardashian share different opinions on their fallout
In July 2020, E! News reported that the Kardashian’s relationship with Larsa Pippen “naturally grew apart over a period of time because life happens.”
At the time, Kardashian was still married to Kanye West and they had just welcomed their fourth child.
“Kim is focused on matters at home—getting Kanye [West] healthy, her four young kids, law school and juggling her businesses,” an insider told E! News.
"They are just in a different place in their lives and are not as close as they used to be, but have no ill feelings at all and still stay in touch," the source added.
It was also rumored that Kardashian unfollowed Larsa Pippen for her “own mental health” as she began to “narrow down what was showing up on her feed,” per E! News.
Several months later, Larsa Pippen appeared to blame Kanye West for her fallout with the Kardashians.
During a November 2020 appearance on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, Larsa Pippen claimed that Kanye West “didn’t trust anyone with Kim” and that he didn’t want the two be close anymore.
“I feel like I was the person that was like, 'Oh, like, don't be so close to her because you're so close to her' that, you know, that kind of had something to do with it,” she said at the time, per E! News.
Two years later, Larsa Pippen clarified that she was seen as a “problem” in Kanye and Kim’s relationship.
"I was best friends with Kim and I love her and I love Kanye and I just was the person who was stuck in the middle,” she said in a confessional during a 2022 episode of “The Real Housewives of Miami.”
