“Oh my gosh, this is so surreal."
After telling Vogue that he’s “done a lot of dumb things in my life,” Justin Bieber said “the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”
But in celebrating Hailey Bieber’s Vogue cover, fans are confused while the pop star would air out some of their dirty laundry in the process.
Following the release of her Vogue cover, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to praise his wife.
“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” he wrote in the caption. “I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even.”

“I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even,” he continued. “We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection. So baby (you) already know but forgive me for saying (you) wouldn’t get a Vogue cover (because) clearly I was sadly mistaken.”
However, in the comment section, fans were taken aback by Justin Bieber’s candor.
“Justin, idk if this is how you say congrats to your wife lol,” one commenter wrote.
“Sadly mistaken?” Another fan questioned.
However, some fans understood where Justin was coming from.
“People think relationships are perfect and that there are no arguments, he was honest and everything is fine. Be happy, and let JB be happy. Who has never had a bad fight with their partner?”
Eventually, following the large amount of backlash, Justin Bieber edited his caption several hours after posting it.
“🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹,” he wrote.
In another statement shared with Vogue, Justin Bieber praised his family after welcoming their first child into the world, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024.
“I’m walking in the days I always dreamed of,” he said.
Justin Bieber later returned to Instagram to share a photo of sea creature, writing that "on hard days like today these little rare little creatures give me some joy."
