“Are you and Ms. Rachel, one in the same?”
Kate Gosselin issued a three-word response to her son Collin Gosselin’s shady TikTok video.
On Aug. 7, the former reality star’s estranged son took to TikTok to share a vintage photo of him and his seven siblings wearing matching shirts with their names on them.
“Born to be a team, us against the world,” Collin Gosselin wrote over the photo.

“Forced to do it alone, and wonder everyday what our lives could’ve looked like,” the 21-year-old added over a second photo of himself with his hands on the wheel.
In the caption, Collin Gosselin claimed that he and his siblings were “forced apart” and “pitted against each other” throughout his mom and dad Jon Gosselin’s divorce and custody battle.
“All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids? I will always love them more than anything,” he continued.
“The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could’ve shared. I love you guys…” he concluded.
On Aug. 10, Kate Gosselin took to TikTok to share a few cooking tips with her followers — many of whom brought up her son’s post in the comments section.
One follower shared a screenshot of his recent TikTok, to which Kate Gosselin responded, “He knows why” with a crying emoji.
She also liked a flurry of other posts alluding to how she was misunderstood and often “portrayed as the villain” throughout her divorce.

“I love this Kate. As we’ve all grown older, we now recognize how misunderstood you truly were. We hear you now,” another follower wrote, to which she replied, “So true. How kind. Thankyou.”
Jon and Kate Gosselin share eight kids — 24-year-old twins Madelyn and Cara, and 21-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel.
The family rose to fame in 2007 with the release of their reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8” on TLC.
The show was later renamed “Kate Plus 8” in 2010, per IMDB, following Jon and Kate Gosselin’s divorce the year prior. The show aired for 11 seasons (174 episodes) before coming to an end in 2017.
Replying to a comment under her Aug. 10 TikTok video, Kate Gosselin opened up about the way she shows her kids she loves them.
“The little details and the extras. That is absolutely the way I show my love aww. Thank you for noticing that!” she wrote in response.
Kate Gosselin snubbed two of her sextuplets on their 21st birthday
Kate Gosselin hasn’t spent a lot of time on social media in recent years, but made a return to Instagram on May 10 to celebrate her sextuplet’s 21st birthday.
“And just like that, they turned 21! Happy Birthday to my 6!” she wrote in the caption alongside a photo of her, Alexis, Aaden, Leah and Joel.
Hannah and Collin, who decided to live with their father in 2018, according to People, weren’t included in the birthday photo.
Her post came exactly one year after her last Instagram post, which was also a birthday tribute. Hannah and Collin weren’t included in that photo, either.
Prior to that, her most recent post was in July 2023 when she responded to allegations made by Collin Gosselin.
In the post, she described her estranged son as a “troubled young man who continues to need a lot of help.”
“His brothers and sisters and I have not been directly involved in his life due to his history of unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies,” she wrote of Collin in 2023.
She did, however, clarify that she loves Collin “with all my heart” and she would “not be discussing this subject any further.”

As for the Gosselin kids now, Collin and Hannah are still largely estranged from the rest of their siblings, who have little to no contact with dad Jon Gosselin, per People.
