Kelley Wolf is breaking her silence following her recent hospitalization.
The 48-year-old “Real World: New Orleans” alum was detained by police officers in Utah on June 13 before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, according to Today.
The incident came three days after she announced that she and her husband, Scott Wolf, are divorcing.

On June 19, Kelley Wolf shared a series of lengthy Instagram posts accusing a “small but very vocal group” of friends of holding her against her will after they grew worried about her.
“They called the cops from a beach town in Florida or somewhere seaside… while sipping cocktails. That’s not love. That’s control,” she wrote in one of the captions.
Kelley Wolf went on to describe the incident as “wild” but “legal.”
“What happened was legal. But it wasn’t right,” she added in the caption. “And it should never be that easy to weaponize concern — especially against women.”
Kelley Wolf, who has been married to Scott Wolf since 2004, also claimed that she was the one who initiated the divorce, though the official petition came from her husband.
“I initiated a separation almost a year ago. I’ve been trying to file for divorce for months, but delays with legal counsel slowed the process,” she wrote in the caption.
“Yes, the official petition came from the other party, but let the record show: I’ve been grieving this marriage for years,” she continued.
Kelley Wolf added that she’s “far past the grief” and “well into the healing” at this point in her life.
Kelley Wolf further reflects on her five days in the hospital
In a separate Instagram post, published the same day, Kelley Wolf opened up about her hospital stay.
The former reality star turned life coach claimed that she was offered medication, despite refusing “every single one,” and laid in bed for five days — “sober, clear, and calm.”
She also joked that she’s “one of the strongest women a certain mental hospital has ever met.”
As for what’s next, Kelley Wolf said she’ll be by the pool with her kids, living her “actual, beautiful, grounded, powerful life.”
“If I ever tell the full story of the last six months—hell, even the last six days—you might fall out of your chair,” she added in the caption.
“But for now, I’ll say this: Most of it should (and will) be handled between adults and through proper legal pathways,” she continued.
Her statement comes nine days after she announced her separation from Scott Wolf in an Instagram post.
“This has been a long, quiet journey for me—rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children,” she wrote on June 10.
She went on to praise Scott Wolf as “one of the best fathers” she has ever known and “one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with.”
Scott Wolf shared a similar sentiment later that day, describing it as the “most difficult decision” of his life.
“Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter,” he wrote.
