“Happy first Father’s Day as a father of three!”
Kelly Stafford has no regrets when it comes to her “mommy makeover” via plastic surgery.
The 36-year-old wife of NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford took to her “The Morning After” podcast on May 26 to open up about some of the procedures she has undergone since completing her family.
The couple share four daughters — twins Sawyer and Chandler, 8, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4 — together.

“I had my boobs re-done and you also did the tummy tuck,” she said to her plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, who appeared as her guest on the podcast. “You put back together my abs.”
The former University of Georgia cheerleader clarified that she first visited Fisher in 2021, per People.
While she was initially skeptical about the tummy tuck procedure, she later learned that her skepticism was more of a misunderstanding than anything else.
“A lot of people who live in California know what a tummy tuck is, but in my mind, when I was told a tummy tuck, I was like, ‘That’s lipo, right?’” she said on the podcast, per the New York Post.
“I was thinking fat removal and then skin and I remember being like, ‘Oh man, OK,’” she added.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), a tummy tuck (also known as abdominoplasty), “removes excess fat and skin and restores weakened muscles” in the abdominal area.
Liposuction, however, “involves the removal of excess fat from specific areas of the body,” per the ASPS.
As Kelly Stafford explained on her podcast, she was more interested in the skin-tightening benefits of a tummy tuck, rather than the removal of fat with liposuction.
“I felt great after mine. I felt very confident,” Kelly Stafford said of her “mommy makeover.”
As for the advice Kelly Stafford has for other mothers: don’t wait.
“You want to do it when you still have that urge to feel sexy,” she explained.
“I’m not saying at 18 years down the road I might not have a resurgence of that,” she continued, “but I also just think you’re older in age, and it gets tougher.”
In Kelly Stafford’s eyes, it’s all about feeling like the best version of yourself.
“You have a kid or you've had multiple children, and you haven't really felt like yourself since before you had kids,” she added. “I'm done [having kids]. Let me go get set. Like, let me go feel like myself.”
Matthew and Kelly Stafford completed their family in 2020
Matthew and Kelly Stafford have been going strong for nearly two decades.
The two met while attending the University of Georgia, where Matthew Stafford played quarterback and his future wife was a cheerleader for the football team.
Stafford was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2009, where he began his NFL career.
He tied the knot with Kelly Stafford six years later and they started raising a family in 2017, when they welcomed their twin daughters Sawyer and Chandler, who turned eight in March.
Their third daughter, Hunter, was born in August 2018, followed by Tyler in June 2020.
The family moved to Los Angeles in 2021 after the star quarterback was traded from the Lions to the Rams. In February 2022, Matthew Stafford led the Rams to their first Super Bowl win since 2000.
In April, he and Kelly Stafford celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary.
“10 years in and my heart feels so full,” Kelly Stafford wrote in an Instagram caption.
