Kylie Kelce Makes a Cheeky Change to Her Instagram Bio

Stacey Ritzen | October 17, 2025

Well, it sounds as though Travis Kelce isn't the only one in the family with tree-like "wood." Apparently his brother, retired Eagles center Jason Kelce, is also lumberjack material.

Taylor Swift's future sister-in-law Kylie Kelce recently changed her Instagram bio to seemingly referencing one of the jokes her husband has made about one of her new tracks, "Wood," off of the singer's new album, Life of a Showgirl.

In the song, which many people believe is about Travis and not superstition like Swift has shared, sings, "Forgive me, it sounds cocky / He ah-matized me and opened my eyes / Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see / His love was the key that opened my thighs."

Suffice it to say, the seemingly raunchy track has been one of the more talked about since Swift released the album on Oct. 3.

At any rate, it's unclear exactly when Kylie changed her bio, but as of Friday, Oct. 17, it now reads, "Big fan of Japanese Maples."

Kylie was referencing the Oct. 8 episode of her husband's "New Heights" podcast, in which Jason gave his brother a fair amount of ribbing over the track, and also inadvertently put himself in the crosshairs.

"How do you feel about 'Wood?'" Jason asked his brother during a breakdown of the album. When Travis said with a straight face that the song was "great," his brother continued to grill him.

"Do you feel ... not confident ... Do you feel cocky about the song 'Wood?'" Jason said laughing. "It's not just any song, this is a very specific you," he pressed, when Travis continued to play dumb.

"I love that girl so what do you mean?" Travis asked. "Any song that she would reference me in..."

When Jason pointed out that the song isn't just about him, but that it was also about "an appendage," Travis told him that he wasn't understanding the song, which elicited an outburst from Jason.

"Jesus Christ Travis, come on! Redwood tree ain't hard to see?!" he continued. "I thought redwood was a little bit, that's a generous word, I think. I think if somebody wrote a song about me, it'd be like, 'Japanese maple, sometimes can see.'"

At that point, Jason began cracking up, eliciting several seconds of laughter out of Travis.

"That song's great though. The freaking beat to that song is fantastic and that's right up my alley, so well done. I think it's a great song," Jason gushed, later adding, "I think inserting wood innuendos is always childish enough for me that I can get on board with that."

Hopefully all this talk about lumber doesn't make the upcoming holidays too awkward for the Kelce family.
