Eight months after saying “I do,” Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have shared another big announcement.
Meghan King, former Real Housewives of Orange County star, and her ex-husband, professional baseball player Jim Edmonds, have a new custody agreement in place.
The pair have finally worked out an agreement following a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation that took place earlier this year.
The investigation had resulted in the temporary removal of the couple's three children, Aspen, 8, and twins Hart and Hayes, 7, from King’s custody around Halloween, according to a PEOPLE source.
Originally, the pair was set to have an official custody hearing in front of a judge, but they decided to work things out on their own instead.
"The custody hearing has been called off and both sides have reached an agreement that is in the best interests of the children," Edmonds' rep Steve Honig told PEOPLE in a December 8 update on their case.
Now Us Weekly has confirmed in a new exclusive that the children will live full-time with Edmonds and his wife Kortnie in Tennessee.
However, King will get to see the kids for a few weeks every summer, per the arrangement.
On November 20, Page Six revealed in an exclusive that the children were removed from King’s custody because she had allegedly given Hayes, 7, Ritalin multiple times, even though he has not been prescribed it or diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
King also asked the school nurse to administer it to him, which prompted the school to call CPS and led to the investigation.
King and Edmonds were married from 2014 to 2019, with their divorce being finalized two years later in 2021.
Edmonds and his wife Kortnie first went public with their relationship in April 2020 and have now been married since September 2022.
