It’s a golden birthday for the tiny prince.
On Tuesday, May 6, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, celebrated his 6th birthday.
Markle commemorated the special day on Instagram.
Alongside a photo of Archie, standing on a balcony looking at the sunrise, Markle wrote, “Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie!”
“Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go?” Markle marveled.
“And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special,” she concluded her post.
The new picture of Archie comes just days after Markle shared a black and white image of Archie, and 3-year-old Lilibet walking with Harry.
Markle didn’t caption the May 4 post.
In a recent podcast appearance, Markle revealed that she created obscure email accounts for her children that the public wouldn’t be able to find.
While a guest on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, she explained that she uses the emails to send notes, pictures, and videos to them nightly.
“Because it doesn't have to be a heavy lift. And you email them, like, ‘Here's a report card from today. Or, ‘Oh my gosh, you said the funniest thing this morning.’ Or, ‘Here's a picture of you two having breakfast.’ Or, ‘Here's you playing.’ (It’s) the things that you're not going to frame, the things that you're not going to put pen to paper in a journal, but they will end up at one point in their life, maybe when they're 16 or when they're 18, that I say, ‘Here's an email that I've been keeping for you.’”
She added that “it’s the best part about being a mom,” because it’s “not about the grandeur of a gesture. It's about, ‘I see you, I'm nurturing you, I see you so deeply, and I love being able to see your growth.’ I’m just so proud of them.”
