Michelle Williams has one more mouth to feed at home.
The 44-year-old Emmy-winning actress quietly welcomed her third baby with director husband Thomas Kail (and fourth child total), according to a source by People.
The source noted that the newborn is already six weeks old and the newly-minted family of six has already made appearances “around their New York neighborhood.”
"They couldn't be happier to expand their family, and Matilda has been doting on her younger siblings," the source says, per People.
Williams and Kail are already parents to a 4-year-old son Hart and a third child born in 2022. Williams also shares an 18-year-old daughter, Matilda, with actor Heath Ledger.
Williams and Kail met in 2018 on the set of “Fosse/Verdon,” a miniseries starring Williams (who was married to musician Phil Elverum) and partly directed by Kail (who was married to Angela Christian).
After divorcing their respective partners, Us Weekly confirmed in December 2019 that Williams and Kail were engaged and expecting their first child together.
The pair tied the knot in early 2020 and welcomed Hart in June of that same year, per Us Weekly.
In a May 2022 interview with Variety, Williams revealed that she was expecting her second child with Kail.
“It’s totally joyous,” Williams told Variety of having a third baby. “As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you.”
“It’s exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family,” she added.
She also discussed the oddity of welcoming Hart, her second child, during the COVID-19 lockdown and the importance of raising her children in a “loving home.”
“There’s nothing that makes you committed to a better world than raising a great kid,” she said in the interview. “It’s the ultimate creative act.”

Williams furthered that sentiment in a January 2023 interview with Entertainment Weekly.
She talked about the joys and struggles of filming “The Fablemans,” released in 2022, while pregnant with baby No. 3 and how important it was to remain in the workforce.
"It's amazing because we all do it. That's how every human gets here, is a woman giving of herself,” she told EW of the physical and emotional toll it had on her life.
Williams also opened up about searching for a balance between motherhood and acting, noting that it often “means that you’re always adjusting.”
"My heart obviously belongs to my children; they tug at it the most,” she told Entertainment Weekly.
“But I really want to be able to have both. And I think that it requires deep thought and learning and the support of other women to figure out how to get through it,” she continued.
Williams hasn’t appeared on screen since “The Fabelmans” — aside from her narration of the 2023 documentary “Deep Sky,” released in October 2023 — but that’s about to change.
The newly-minted mother of four is starring in a new limited series “Dying for Sex,” which also features Jenny Slate, Rob Delaney and David Rasche.
The comedy drama premieres with all eight episodes on Hulu on April 4.
