From Helena Bonham Carter to acting newcomers, 'The White Lotus' season 4 cast is shaping up to be one of the show’s most intriguing yet.
They say there's no place like home for the holidays, and the Hilton family couldn't agree more.
At Kathy Hilton and Nicky Hilton’s annual Holiday Pajama Party in Los Angeles on November 4, the mother-daughter duo shared some of their favorite things about the holiday season.
For Nicky, it gives her a chance to feel that spark of magic from her childhood and be surrounded by family once again.
“I think the holidays really, really get fun as the family has grown,” Nicky shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “And all of the children and getting to relive Christmas through sweet little innocent eyes.”
While the Hilton family may be spread across the US with their own families, they always prioritize making it home to California for the holidays.
“My siblings and I have started our own family tradition,” Nicky said in the interview. “My daughter's birthday is December 20, so we live in New York, [and are] coming home for the holidays. We all do, me, Barron, Paris, Conrad, all go.”
Once they're all back in California, the Hiltons take a big family trip to Disneyland, heading there in Sprinter vans together.
“We have this annual trip," she continued. "And we are there from when [the park] opens, and we even spend the night, and it's so much fun."
Kathy chimed in to add that even as an adult, Disneyland has a special type of magic, especially when they're all there together as a family.
"I love it. Even as a grown-up, I love… I get on Main Street and forget Rodeo or Fifth Avenue," Kathy said.
Despite her family's fame and fortune, Nicky likes to keep the holidays down-to-earth for her children.
She shared that her children are given "two to four gifts" each year to keep things simple.
“I don't believe in buying a million gifts and spoiling my children,” she explained.
"And they’re happy," Kathy clarified. “Kids get tired, they get cranky when there’s too much stimulation.”
Forgoing piles of extravagant toys, the Hiltons prefer focusing on the gift that comes without a price tag: being together.
