“And just celebrate with the people that have been a part of this whole thing for my entire career.”
Just days after Michelle Trachtenberg’s death, the Oscars were televised on national television.
Trachtenberg was discovered dead in her New York City apartment by her mother on Feb. 26.
On March 2, much of Hollywood gathered to celebrate the film industry at the Oscars.

During the in memoriam, which remembers those in the film industry who have passed on in the last year, Trachtenberg was not included. Fans were unhappy with the decision to exclude her from the list of her late peers.
“Michelle Trachtenberg deserved her flowers!!! #Oscars. That's so sad.”
“It’s shameful that the #Oscars didn’t include Michelle Trachtenberg in their memorial montage of all the actors/actresses who have passed within the year!!!!”
“Michelle Trachtenberg not being mentioned in the in memoriam section of the oscars is upsetting , you are and will remain so so loved and admired Michelle.”
"Michelle Trachtenberg wasn’t in the In Memoriam…"
While best known for her roles in popular television series like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Gossip Girl,” Trachtenberg has her fair share of movie credits as well including “Ice Princess,” “17 Again,” “Eurotrip,” “Harriet the Spy,” and more.
As reports have revealed, Trachtenberg’s death comes after the 39-year-old actress underwent a liver transplant.
Her cause of death will remain undetermined after the actress’s family objected to the autopsy for “religious reasons.”
The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner did not object to Trachtenberg’s family’s decision because there was no suspicion of foul play.
