“Look at him. Look at his little uniform. He looks just like me!”
Getting young children to sit still for photos is easier said than done. And in yet another instance of "celebrities, they're just like us," even Paris Hilton isn't above bribing her kids with sweets to get them to cooperate.
Hilton shares two children, Phoenix, 2, and London, 23 months, with her husband of nearly four years, Carter Reum. Both Phoenix and London were on hand for a photo shoot the Simple Life star was taking part in to promote her new dinnerware collection with Walmart.
In a short clip posted to TikTok on Friday, Oct. 17, the two toddlers can be seen getting down to business with a wide spread of desserts in front of them, with Hilton's daughter sucking icing off her finger and son Phoenix chowing down on cookies off to the side.
"I feel like you're just here for the food. All you did all photoshoot was eat the food," the 44-year-old quipped in text overlaying the video, which was set to a soundbite from the Netflix sketch comedy series, I Think You Should Leave: "I feel like you’re just here for the zipline."
"Looks like the Cutesie Crew knew they could get extra desserts if they agreed to model my new dinnerware collection at Walmart," Hilton added in the caption of the video, adding for fans to shop in store and online!
In a contrast between real life and the magic of editing, Hilton also shared the finished product to Instagram, in which London appears definitely preoccupied by the sweets, but perhaps less chaotically so. "My new 'London Dinnerware Collection' is perfect for my princess!" Hilton captioned the video.
Both Phoenix and London were both born via surrogate, which helped keep the pregnancies a secret. The heiress first revealed that she had welcomed her son in the teaser for the second season of her Peacock reality series, Paris in Love.
"Literally no one knows," Hilton voiceovers in the clip. My own family doesn't know."
"If people found out there would be paparazzi all over Cedars [Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles]," she tells Reum as the pair headed to the hospital, in a sneak peek of the season. "I'm hoping and praying that no one at the hospital tells. If anyone recognizes me let's pretend that it's our nephew."
"Can't blow our cover now, we've done such a good job," Reum added.
"I don’t think it ever hit me we weren’t going to tell anyone, that was really Paris," the 44-year-old entrepreneur and venture capitalist added in a confessional. "My initial inclination was to tell my family and get everyone excited, hers was to hold the secret. But she’s had to go through life having to protect herself, so I was gonna do everything I could to be a good teammate."
