Comedian Pete Davidson and model Elsie Hewitt have joyful news to share.
Five months after revealing they were expecting their first child together, Davidson and Hewitt have announced the birth of their firstborn, while also sharing the deeply personal name they gave her.
On Thursday, December 18, the couple took to Instagram to share a series of intimate photos capturing their first moments as parents.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” the couple wrote, before revealing her name: Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson ♥️.

The name immediately stood out to fans, many of whom recognized it as a seemingly touching tribute to Davidson’s late father, Scott Davidson.
Scott Davidson, a New York City firefighter, died while responding to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
In the comments, fans flooded the post with congratulations, and heartfelt reactions to the baby’s name.
“Scottie after his dad!?!? This is the sweetest. Congratulations to you and your family, and welcome to the world, Scottie,” one fan wrote.
“I’m crying — named after his dad. Beautiful,” another commenter added.
In addition to sharing their daughter’s name, both Davidson and Hewitt shared their own personal statements.
“My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” Hewitt told her followers.
In his own statement, Davidson wrote, “Wu tang forever.”
According to E! News, Davidson and Hewitt met through mutual friends and immediately hit it off.
Davidson told E! News, both he and Hewitt weren’t really looking for anything and we immediately were just like, ‘Oh, wow.’”
“I would say she’s female me and I’m male her,” he added. “We just laugh all day.”
