Prince Louis is now 7.
On Wednesday, April 23, Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated their youngest child’s seventh birthday via Instagram.
“Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday,” the family wrote on their official account.
The couple shared the traditional new photograph of Prince Louis before adding to the tradition with a video.

The video showcased Prince Louis personality, his adventurous side, and his smile.
Alongside film emojis, Middleton and William simply captioned the video, “7 today!”
Fans were overjoyed with the video shared by the royal family.
“Love this! Thank you for sharing this special video of Prince Louis with us. We truly appreciate it,” one commenter wrote.
“Awww stop this is too sweet,” another added.
“Beautiful boy! Beautiful life! Thank you for sharing him with us. Xoxo Happy Birthday,” shared a third.
The last time the Prince and Princess of Wales shares images of their children on Instagram was over the holiday season after Middleton announced she was cancer free.
Louis made headlines at the “Together at Christmas” service at Westminster Abbey for the note he placed on a Christmas tree outside the church.
“Thank you Granny and Grandpa because they have played games with me,” the then-6-year-old wrote.
Fans will soon see a new photo of Princess Charlotte and Prince George on their upcoming birthdays as well.
Charlotte turns 10 on May 2 and George turns 12 on July 22.
