Rapper Eminem's eldest daughter, Alaina Scott, has announced that she is pregnant with her and her husband Matt Moeller's first child.
Alaina Scott is one of three daughters that Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, shares with his ex-wife Kim Scott.
Alaina was born to Kim's sister, Dawn Scott, and Eminem legally adopted her in the early 2000s as the couple took over caring for her due to her biological mother's struggles with drug use.
Eminem has remained an important part of Alaina's life throughout her childhood and adulthood, even walking her down the aisle at her wedding in June of 2023.
“I had an 80-foot long black and white checkered aisle and my dad walked me down the aisle,” Alaina said of the rapper in a PEOPLE exclusive interview at the time of the wedding. “He wasn't going to miss that.”
Now, the family has new news to celebrate, as Alaina prepares to welcome her first child into the world.
She took to Instagram on October 12 to make the announcement, posting a carousel of images of her telling her husband she is pregnant, followed by the two of them posing for photos with a baby onesie that says "Baby Moeller."
"There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear," she wrote as part of the post's caption. "I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we've wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing."
"God has blessed our family with the miracle of life," her husband commented. "The little one doesn’t know how lucky they are to have a mother like you yet, but they will. The way you show love, kindness, patience and happiness towards kids makes so proud and honored to have you as my wife, and now the mother of our first child."
Alaina's younger sister, Hailie Jade, welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall, this past April, making Eminem a grandpa for the first time earlier this year.
"Eminem will be grandpa for the second time!!! What a beautiful life you girls are giving him. It’s so amazing to see what a happy, lovely and blessed life you girls are living!!!!" one fan wrote in the comments of Alaina's announcement.
While Alaina has not revealed how far along she is, the baby is expected sometime in 2026.
