"King Kylie" is returning to her throne in Kylie Jenner's latest Kylie Cosmetics campaign.
Sadie Robertson’s baby name idea came with a little pushback from her husband — but he eventually came around to it.
And she has a Somerset hotel to thank for it.
The 28-year-old “Duck Dynasty” star and granddaughter of Phil Robertson welcomed her third child — a baby girl named Kit Carroway, with husband Christian Huff on Aug. 1, according to Instagram.
Now two months later, Robertson is opening up about the origin story of her daughter’s unique name.
"I threw it out there to my husband amongst five other great names, but I was really hoping he would love Kit," she said in an interview with People, published Oct. 2.
"And as soon as I said Kit, he was like, 'No.' He did not like it,” she added.
Kit, which is traditionally a diminutive of the names Christopher (meaning “bearing Christ” in Greek) and Katherine (meaning “pure” in Hebrew), per Behind the Name, is a rather unique gender-neutral name.
It was only given to 188 baby girls and 182 baby boys in the United States in 2024, according to the Social Security Administration.
Despite her husband’s initial disapproval, Robertson said a trip to Somerset, England helped change his mind — and it all started when she stumbled upon a book on a bookshelf at their hotel.
“There was a book that said Kit. And on the book it had honeybees all over it, which is our thing with honey," Robertson told People. "And Christian was like, 'Oh, that's just a coincidence.'"
Several days later, the couple were walking through the lobby of their hotel when they saw another sign.
"There's only four books, by the way, in the entire lobby, and all four of them say, 'Kit, Kit, Kit, Kit.' And we started freaking out," Sadie said. "We're like, ‘That's so crazy. That's so cool, that's what we prayed for.'"
It turns out that the owner of the hotel was named Kit — and she gave the couple a bundle of gifts with her brand’s name on it, which was also Kit.
At that point, Sadie Robertson’s husband was convinced.
"And after that, my husband could not deny that this child was supposed to be named Kit," Sadie said.

Robertson’s interview with People comes a few weeks after she suffered a health scare.
On Sept. 24, the mom of three took to Instagram to share a photo of her and her newborn baby girl. In the caption, she revealed that the mother-daughter duo were hit fairly hard with an illness.
“Over two weeks in our home - the big girls got hand, foot, and mouth. And then after we finally got past that, I got hit with a crazy stomach virus. I then got mastitis,” she wrote.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, mastitis “is painful inflammation in your breast tissue that can lead to a bacterial infection.” While it can happen to anyone, it’s most common in women that breastfeed.
Robertson ended up spending two nights in the hospital before being sent home to continue her recovery.
“I still don’t know what that was, but that’s okay. I’m just thankful to be better and to be healing at home. I missed my girls…” she continued.
In addition to Kit, Robertson and Huff share two more daughters — Honey, 3, and Haven, 2.
The family of five recently enjoyed a beach-filled vacation with siblings and cousins, and even spent some precious time with Mamaw Jo, who Sadie described as “the greatest great great grandma on the block.”
On Oct. 2, she returned to Instagram with a two-month tribute to her newborn baby girl.
