Just moments after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift announced that they are engaged to be married, their friend, Brittany Mahomes, shared her thoughts on the celebratory event.
On Tuesday, Aug. 26, Swift and Kelce shared their engagement with the world, and Patrick Mahomes’ wife also shared her congratulations.
On her own Instagram story, Brittany shared the post, writing, “Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two.”
Alongside several beautiful photos of the special moment, Swift captioned the post, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”
The photos revealed Kelce on one knee as Swift embraced him. The couple were amongst trees and pink and white as Kelce asked for Swift’s hand in marriage.

The happy couple also shared a close up photo of the gorgeous engagement ring Kelce gave Swift.
According to Brides, the vintage-inspired engagement ring features an 8-carat diamond valued at about $550,000.
As People reports, it was designed by Kindred Lubeck and Artifex Fine Jewelry.
The singer paired her ring with a casual black and white dress from Ralph Lauren and tan sandal heels.
The news of their engagement comes after a busy month for them. Swift announced her 12th studio album while a guest on Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights.”
Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023 after Kelce called out the singer-songwriter on that very podcast when she didn’t meet up with him after one of her concerts.
