Tennis great Serena Williams is sharing video evidence of how her oldest daughter, Olympia Ohanian, keeps her humble.
On July 1, Williams shared a video of herself on a boat seemingly preparing to take a photo. The tennis legend was wearing a green two-piece ensemble with a bit of her midriff showing.
However, as she found her pose, Olympia made it clear her mom’s outfit was showing a bit too much skin for her taste.
It was in that moment that Olympia took matters into her own hands and covered up Williams’ midriff by pulling up the top of her mom’s skirt.
Williams didn’t seem all that stunned by Olympia’s reaction but did admit in the caption of the Instagram post that her 7-year-old daughter is “always keeping me in check.”
“That hand said, ‘and this ain’t the first time,’” a commenter noticed.
Williams later asked “someone please let her know it’s summer” alongside the eye roll emoji.
Fans in the comments encouraged Williams to save this video for when Olympia is older.

“In about 10 years show her this video and tell her she can’t have her midriff showing either,” one commenter joked.

In addition to Olympia, Williams and her husband of 7 years, Alexis Ohanian, also share 1-year-old Adira as well.
On June 18, Williams shared a video of Olympia and Adira working together to give their mom a glow up.
“My glam team is back,” Williams wrote. “They have such a fresh, young look they’re curating for me. Can’t wait to see how this turns out!”
