"There's this video going around on social media, and it's supposed to be my dad, but it's AI."
Taylor Lautner still has his rizz from 20 years ago — except now he’s using it on his wife.
The 33-year-old, best known for his role as Jacob Black in the “Twilight” film series, began his acting career in 2001 before earning his first big break in 2005 with “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.”
Later that year, a 13-year-old Lautner was cast as Elliot Murtaugh in “Cheaper by the Dozen 2.”

The film received plenty of negative reviews from critics, according to Rotten Tomatoes, but anyone who has seen the film remembers one scene, in particular, with Lautner and actress Alyson Stoner.
In the scene, Lautner and Stoner (who played Sarah Baker in the film) were on a date in a movie theater as their two dads, played by Steve Martin and Eugene Levy, watched closely from afar.
At one point, Lautner starts to stretch his arm before placing it over Stoner’s shoulders.
“Oh my God, look at this, he’s doing the move,” Martin’s character says before showing Levy what “the move” is.
That scene was filmed two decades ago — but the move still works to this day.
On July 2, Lautner took to Instagram to share a video of him and his wife watching “Cheaper by the Dozen 2” at an outdoor movie theatre when the scene came on the big screen.
“Oh, I love this part,” one kid is heard saying in the background. “It’s the best part.”
As the scene continued, Lautner panned the camera back to himself before trying “the move” on his wife, also named Taylor “Tay” Lautner.
“The move still works 20 years later,” Lautner wrote in the caption.
“Dude had rizz at 13 years old sheesh,” his wife added in a comment.
“Got me good! Almost convinced me I was straight,” wrote Stoner, who identifies as “pansexual and queer” and uses the pronouns they/them, per USA Today.
Fans were having a hard time containing their excitement in the comment section.
“The way I screamed when the camera turned around,” one fan wrote.
“You’re telling me this movie is so classic even the actors still go to see it?!” another fan reacted.
“I’ve lived my whole life for this video,” a third fan commented.
YouTube and Disney+ joined in on the fun and described the move as “smooth” in the comments.
Lautner has also watched the ‘Twilight’ series with his wife
Lautner and his wife, Tay, went Instagram official in October 2018 when they shared a photo of them dressed in Toon Squad uniforms from “Space Jam” for Halloween.
In 2022, Lautner revealed that it was his sister who introduced him to Tay.
"She called me and said, 'Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl.' And the rest is history,” he told People at the time.
The couple announced their engagement in 2021 and tied the knot the following year.
More recently, on the June 4 episode of their “The Squeeze” podcast, Taylor and Tay Lautner revealed that they watched the “Twilight” film series for the first time as a couple.
Taylor Lautner said it was the first time he was able to watch the series “as a fan.”
As for his wife, she couldn’t help but get emotional after noticing a tiny detail in one of the scenes.
“There's like a closeup shot of his face and you can see this little scar that Taylor has on his forehead from when he had chickenpox when he was a kid,” she says of a scene in “Eclipse.”
Tay Lautner added that the scar is “a little mark on him that I like love.”

“It's like one of my favorite details of Taylor's face, and getting to see you be 17, it was the first time it was you for me,” she added. “But, it was really tender because it was you at 17, and here you are like 32 now.”
