Demi Moore opens up about how spending time with her children helped her understand that career success alone doesn’t bring true fulfillment.
Teddi Mellencamp had some exciting news to share with her followers.
On April 23, the 43-year-old former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star took to her Instagram account and shared a positive update as she continues her battle with stage 4 cancer.
In the caption, Mellencamp reveals that all of her stage 4 tumors have either “shrunk or disappeared.”

“I have 6ish more weeks of immunotherapy and doctors believe I will be healed if everything stays on course,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, prayers, and positivity.”
Mellencamp had just finished her scans when she decided to film a quick video update.
“Honestly, the crying is already done,” she said at the beginning of the video. “Doctors believe (this) means that this all will work and that I will be back to myself and feeling good.”
The “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast host said she hopes to be cancer-free once she completes her two remaining immunotherapy sessions.
“I'm going to keep a positive outlook because that's the way my doctor just spoke to me,” Mellencamp said in the video.
“You’ve got that Mellencamp blood, so you’re good,” she recalled her doctor saying to her.
The update comes three days after Mellencamp posted a photo of with her two youngest children and the Easter Bunny.
“We must have been the last stop because the Easter Bunny was a little worse for wear when he got to our door,” she joked in the caption alongside a reel of photos mocking the costume design.
“We missed Slate who was at the horse show and Bella who was on Spring Break,” she added.
Mellencamp was previously given a 50/50 shot at survival
Mellencamp first announced that she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in October 2022 following a routine, three-month skin check.
She had 11 melanomas removed by December of that year and six more in the two years since, per People.
Things took a turn for the worse earlier this year when doctors found several tumors in her brain.
Mellencamp revealed the news in February and shared that two of the rumors would be removed later that day and the rest would be dealt with via radiation.
On April 2, she announced that her cancer had reached stage 4 after the melanoma metastasized to her brain and lungs. She later revealed that doctors had given her a 50/50 shot at survival.
Two weeks later, she opened up to Entertainment Tonight about the pain and fear she lives with daily.
“I don't think you understand the debilitating pain that I feel some days thinking about the fact that...my kids,” Mellencamp recalled of a conversation she had with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.
She choked up at the idea of potentially leaving her children without a mother far too soon.
"That is extremely frightening. My kids are young,” she told ET.
Mellencamp shares three kids — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5 — with Arroyave and is also a stepmother to his 15-year-old daughter Isabella from a previous relationship, per People.
The couple tied the knot in 2011 and were married for 13 years before splitting in October. Mellencamp filed for divorce in November, but the two have set that aside while she continues treatment.
“We’re still getting a divorce, we’ve just put a hold on it. The last thing I need is that stress,” she told ET.

“We’re good parents together, we have a lot of laughs,” she added.
