The next chapter of HBO’s acclaimed anthology series is heading to France — and the ensemble taking up residence at the latest White Lotus property is shaping up to be one of the show’s most intriguing yet.
From Academy Award nominees to a fresh-faced model making her acting debut, here is a comprehensive look at every actor confirmed so far for the fourth season of The White Lotus.
A New Season, a New Destination
The White Lotus, the hit HBO series created by Mike White, will set its fourth season at a luxury resort in France. While specific plot details are still being kept under wraps, the show’s format remains consistent with what fans have come to expect. Just like previous seasons, season 4 will follow a fresh group of wealthy vacationers whose stay at a White Lotus property is anything but relaxing.

HBO notoriously doesn’t share many details about upcoming seasons. A logline detailed that season four will “follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week,” as expected.
The cast announcements have rolled out in waves, beginning in December 2025 and continuing in the weeks that followed, building anticipation for a season that brings together a wide-ranging mix of talent.
Alexander Ludwig
Alexander Ludwig was one of the first cast members confirmed for the upcoming fourth season of The White Lotus. He and AJ Michalka were the first stars confirmed for season 4 in December 2025, per Variety.
Ludwig is most well known for appearing in the first Hunger Games movie as Cato.
He took to Instagram to commemorate his casting: “Beyond honored. Huge thank you to Mike for your trust in me and can’t wait to bring this unbelievable material to life,” Ludwig wrote on Dec. 19.
AJ Michalka
AJ Michalka was confirmed as part of the season four cast alongside Ludwig. You probably know her from sister duo Aly & AJ. Yes, AJ of Aly & AJ will be on The White Lotus’ fourth installment. The two were very popular on Disney Channel in the 2000s and 2010s.
Michalka has acting experience as well. She acted in The Goldbergs from 2014 to 2023 and its spinoff, Schooled, from 2019 to 2020.
She posted the casting news on Instagram in December, writing, “Checking in! Let’s party Mike.”

Steve Coogan
Steve Coogan joined the cast the following month after Ludwig and Michalka’s announcement. Coogan is known for portraying the Alan Partridge character. He’s also a two-time Academy Award nominee tied as a writer and producer of Philomena.
His addition brings significant comedic and dramatic pedigree to the season 4 ensemble.
Caleb Jonte Edwards
Caleb Jonte Edwards is a newcomer to the industry, with The White Lotus season four notably serving as his third credited project. He’s appeared in a single episode of the Australian drama series Black Snow and a short film called The Man and the Woman.
Edwards joined the cast in the same wave of announcements as Coogan, making the leap from relative unknown to a member of one of television’s most talked-about casts.
Helena Bonham Carter
Helena Bonham Carter, who also joined the cast alongside Coogan and Edwards, brings one of the most extensive résumés of anyone in the season 4 ensemble. Her Academy Award nods hail from her performances in The King’s Speech and The Wings of the Dove.

She also appeared in Netflix’s The Crown as Princess Margaret.
Her involvement is likely to draw significant attention to the season, given the depth and range of her career across film and television.
Marissa Long
Model Marissa Long is making her acting debut on The White Lotus season four, joining the cast as one of its least experienced but potentially most exciting new faces.
Long shared her excitement on Instagram when the news came out.
“I’ll try and make this short and sweet, but I am absolutely raw right now!!! God is so good — I am in the middle of so many feelings and I’m unbelievably honored to be joining this with such incredible people,” she wrote. “And thank you Mike White!!!!!!!!!! I’m speechless and cannot wait for this journey, feeling deeply blessed.. LETS GO!!!!”
Her casting continues the show’s tradition of bringing in performers from outside traditional acting backgrounds.

Chris Messina
Chris Messina rounds out one of the more recognizable names in the season 4 cast. His most recent acting credit hails from the second season of Based on a True Story (he also starred in season one), and he’s also appeared in Away We Go (2009) and Ben Affleck’s Argo (2012).
Sandra Bernhard
Marty Supreme actress Sandra Bernhard will lend her acting talents to The White Lotus’ fourth season. Her career credits are extensive and varied. She’s been in Martin Scorsese’s The King of Comedy (1982); Without You I’m Nothing (1990); seasons four through 10 of Roseanne; and two episodes of Severance’s second season. She’s also appeared in two Ryan Murphy projects, from Pose (2018-2021), seasons eight and 11 of American Horror Story.
