Tineke “Tini” Younger is sharing her special way of honoring her late daughter with her followers.
The chef, who is famous for sharing her recipes on TikTok, has also shared glimpses into her personal life, including her relationship with her husband Antoine Wright Jr. and their recent pregnancy.
Tragically, the couple lost one of their twin daughters at the end of the pregnancy due to a placenta abruption.
On November 26, Younger shared an Instagram post with photos of her, her husband, and the babies in the hospital.
In the caption of the post, she wrote, “This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A) We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl.”
“Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own,” she continued. “They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister. I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back. I love you guys❤️”
Then, on January 2, Younger shared a carousel of photos of her, her husband, and their surviving daughter, L, with an update on how the family has been doing.
“Just wanted to hop on socials real quick and just let everyone know L (baby b) is doing good, we love her so much. We remind her everyday about Arya and Arya definitely plays with her sister in her dreams, L loves to smile in her sleep❤️👼🏽”
“I’m not sure when I will be back, I’m still emotionally and physically trying to heal,” she continued. “I’ve had some complications during my postpartum which I’m still trying to recover from. Thank you to everyone who sends love🫶🏼”
Then, a few days later on January 6, Younger shared a video to her Instagram stories showing a new tattoo she got to honor Arya’ memory.
The tattoo, located on her upper arm, features a baby footprint (presumably belonging to Arya) next to a little bouquet of flowers and Arya’s name written in cursive.
Sharing the video of the special moment allowed Younger a chance to quickly update her fans on her journey grieving Arya while also navigating being a first time mom to L, which she is mostly doing offline.
