TikTok star Nara Smith, best known for her aesthetic cooking videos, is giving fans a peek into the baby names she considered—but ultimately didn’t choose—for her fourth child.
“Here are some baby names I love but didn’t use this time around,” Nara shared in an October 17 TikTok video.
“For reference, our kids have pretty unique names,” she explained. “We have Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, Whimsy Lou, and now Fawnie Golden. Since this is my last baby, this is also the last video of this sort I’ll do.”
When it came to boy names, the German-South African model revealed that she loved the name Denim Dice, which she said would also be “really cute” for twin boys. Other names on her list included Silver, Gray, Walker, and Lucky—the latter also being her husband’s name. “I might be a little biased with that one,” she joked.
Her girls’ list was even longer. “I love the name Lace, Ruffle, Flora, Jo, Wonder,” she said. “I love the name Dainty, Penny, Meadow. Ribbon is really cute. And I love a good Dr. Seuss book, so I also really like the name Zola.”
Nara also mentioned Whisper and Lilac, as well as Bunny and Mellon—inspired by her recent visit to the estate of socialite Rachel “Bunny” Mellon. “That was definitely on our list for a very long time,” she said. “I love the name Bunny as a first name and Mellon as a second name. I also love Prim, which feels a bit more classic, and Poppy.”
“I hope this helps anyone looking for a little bit of inspiration,” the 24-year-old mom concluded. “Finding a baby name was really hard this time around.”
Comments on the now viral TikTok video were mixed, with many users weighing in on Nara’s unconventional baby name choices. One commenter wrote, “They’re not unique names — they’re random words.” Another joked, “Your children aren’t pets, Nara 😭😭.”
A third added, “Why is she naming her children Pinterest boards?”
After meeting at Milan Fashion Week in 2019, Smith married American model Lucky Blue Smith in February 2020 in California.
The couple share four children together—three daughters and one son—and Nara is also stepmother to Lucky’s daughter from his previous relationship with Stormi Henley.
