Travis Kelce is setting the record straight about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
During a July 1 appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end addressed speculation that he and Swift are vying for attention whenever they step out in public.
According to Kelce, that attention is “expected” and often comes with the territory.

“It gets thrown out there, like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then,” he says on the podcast, per People.
“We’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world,” he added of the backlash.

The comment comes amid a string of public appearances for the couple.
Over the past two months, the pair have been spotted on numerous dinner dates in Philadelphia, New York City and Florida as Kelce prepares for the upcoming 2025-26 NFL season.
The two were also spotted at a wedding in Nashville in early June, at Game 4 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals on June 12 and at Kelce’s annual Tight End University camp toward the end of the month.

“We’re having fun with it, man, being a couple,” Kelce said of the couple’s recent outings.
But the increased attention from fans isn’t even the “craziest part” about dating Swift, Kelce explains.
“The paparazzi, that’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it,” Kelce argued on the podcast, per HuffPost. “That’s probably the craziest part though.”

The random cameras have become such a problem that Kelce can’t even enjoy a round of golf anymore.
“Like I’m just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees, there’s a f------ guy with a camera,” he revealed.
Kelce went on to joke that he doesn’t take bathroom breaks on the golf course anymore out of fear that the paparazzi will leak an explicit photo of him. Instead, he takes his business to the nearest bathroom.
Kelce and Swift’s recent downtime marks a ‘turning point,’ source says
Kelce and Swift have been enjoying a lot of time together this offseason.
Their public appearances come after Swift finished her 21-month long Eras Tour in December — two months before the 2024-25 NFL season came to an end.
The pair have taken advantage of their downtime ever since.
"It’s been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways," one source close to the couple revealed to People on July 1.
"They’re incredibly happy and in sync. There’s a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that’s been really grounding for Taylor and Travis,” the source added.
The pair also have plenty to celebrate since Swift announced that she regained control of her masters.

Kelce and Swift started dating in the summer of 2023, according to Today, but they didn’t go public with their relationship until later that year.
