Suffice it to say, the raunchy track has been one of the more talked about since Swift released the album on Oct. 3.
Xander Schauffele’s son was born a winner — just like his father.
The 31-year-old professional golfer, who’s currently the third-ranked golfer in the world behind Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, welcomed his first baby with wife Maya on Aug. 29, per the PGA Tour.
The baby boy was named Victor — a rather fitting name for a two-time major champion whose middle name happens to be Victor.
Following a three-week break from golf, Schauffele returned to the course on Sept. 26 as a member of Team USA at the 2025 Ryder Cup, marking his first tournament as a father.
Team USA ended up losing to Europe 14-12 on golf’s biggest stage, but Schauffele did his part.
The 10-time PGA Tour winner ended the tournament 3-1-0 and was one of three Americans to finish with a winning record, which included Cameron Young (3-1-0) and J.J. Spaun (2-1-0), per Golf Digest.
Schauffele followed that performance with an even better showing in his first PGA Tour start as a father.
The soon-to-be 32-year-old (his birthday is on Oct. 25) traveled roughly 7,500 miles from his Florida home to compete in the Baycurrent Classic in Yokohama, Japan — a country where he has roots — on Oct. 9.
According to Golf Digest, Schauffele’s mother grew up in Japan, where his grandparents are from.

Schauffele, who was winless in each of his first 15 starts in 2025, opened the tournament with a 71 (tied for 25th) in Round 1 before finishing with a 63, 67 and 64 in Rounds 2-4.
His 265 was one better than the next closest — and enough to secure his first win as a first-time father.
“It’s nice to know I’ve still got it; it was a tough year,” Schauffele said following the win, per Golf Digest.
“I was plenty nervous. It’s been over a year since I was even looking at winning a golf tournament. I had to dig deep in my memory to do it again,” he added.
Xander Schauffele had a ‘beautiful’ year, despite the early struggles
Despite the “tough year,” Schauffele had plenty to celebrate when he returned home.
“What a beautiful year we had because of you,” Xander Schauffele’s wife wrote on Instagram Oct. 14.
The post included maternity photos of Schauffele and his wife, a black-and-white photo of baby Victor holding onto one of his parent’s fingers and a video of Xander taking a nap with his son on his chest.

“Awww, what a beautiful family!” the PGA Tour wrote in the comment section.
“Cutest ever,” Katherine Fitzpatrick, the wife of golfer Matt Fitzpatrick, added next to a red heart emoji.
In September, as Schauffele was preparing for the Ryder Cup, he explained to reporters that he didn’t name his baby Victor after fellow PGA Tour golfer Viktor Hovland, who was a member of Team Europe.
“That’s my middle name. No, I didn’t name him after Viktor Hovland,” Schauffele joke, per Golfweek. “I was Victor way before Viktor (Hovland) was born.”
He went on to praise his wife for holding down the fort while he competed in his first tournament as a dad.
“It’s been awesome. I feel very lucky to have my wife. She’s at home with him right now. I miss him a bunch,” he said while talking to reporters.

“It’s been cool to sort of learn what it’s like to be a dad, and I look forward to everything that comes with that,” he added.
