Where to score the best Thanksgiving dinner deals this year without breaking the bank

Ryan Brennan | November 13, 2025

Grocery bills might be rising, but these Thanksgiving meal deals are here to save the day.

According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, wholesale turkey prices are up about 40% this year due to a variety of economic factors, diseases and production declines impacting the poultry industry.

And that doesn’t take into account all the other items on your Thanksgiving grocery list, like mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, vegetables, gravy, cornbread, dinner rolls, macaroni and cheese, glazed carrots, deviled eggs and the desserts.

If it seems like that list just keeps growing every year, then you’re not alone.

And with grocery prices still on the rise in many of your favorite aisles, families everywhere are expecting a much larger bill this year when stocking up on some of Thanksgiving’s biggest holiday staples.

The good news is that some grocery stores can hear your angst — and are here to help.

Every year, some of the country’s biggest grocery chains and food retailers offer Thanksgiving meal deals that contain everything a family needs for a traditional holiday feast at a discounted price.

And that includes stores like Target, Aldi, Walmart, Kroger and Amazon.

From fully bundled meal packages to individual item discounts (and even free butterball turkeys), these retailers are offering significant savings on everything you need to feed your family this holiday season.

Here's a breakdown of the best Thanksgiving dinner deals available right now.

Target

The meal, which returns this year at its lowest price ever, feeds four people and includes all the staples your family can’t do without this Thanksgiving, including turkey, potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce.

Here’s what’s included in the Target Thanksgiving meal deal that costs less than $5 per person:

  • Stove Top Stuffing Mix (6 oz.)
  • Heinz Home Style Roasted Turkey Gravy (12 oz.)

Here’s what’s included in this year’s Walmart Thanksgiving dinner deal
