“By not telling them, I think you’re confusing them even more.”
Step aside Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez — because Jarrett Allen and his wife have arrived.
The 27-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers center, who stands a modest 6-foot-9, per ESPN, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Jordyn January on July 27, according to People.
But what happened next had the entire internet dancing and singing along.

At the reception, Allen and January gathered their groomsmen and bridesmaids to perform the dance number to “We’re All in This Together” from the 2006 film “High School Musical.”
The dance was originally performed by Bolton (played by Zac Efron) and Montez (Vanessa Hudgens).
Allen’s former teammate Isaac Okoro, who attended the wedding, took to his Instagram Stories on July 27 to share a video of the newlyweds’ performance, which was later shared by a fan on X.

According to People, Allen’s other teammate Dean Wade — who was one of the groomsmen, according to X — posted a video of him dancing and described it as a “tough watch.”
Fans took to X to relish the moment and offer their opinion on the NBA player’s dancing.
“I hope he keeps hooping — dancing isn’t for him,” one fan wrote under the X video.
“Reason #7848642 why I will defend Jarrett Allen for life,” another user replied.
“I hope this helps him rebound better in the playoffs,” a third fan commented.
“Bro will have the nastiest block of the season on someone then do this at his wedding, absolute cinema,” another fan joked.
Allen and January recently celebrated nine years together
Allen and January have been together since June 2016, according to a 2017 Instagram Allen posted in honor of the couple’s one-year anniversary.
“It's been one year since we started dating and I wouldn't change a moment. Love you!” Allen wrote in the caption at the time.
Six years later, Allen took to Instagram to share a photo of him on one knee in front of his then-girlfriend.
“She’s mine. Find your own,” he wrote in the caption alongside a ring emoji.
Allen is about to enter his ninth season in the NBA and fifth full season with the Cavaliers, according to ESPN.
He’s coming off a 2024 campaign where he appeared in all 82 regular season games and averaged 13.5 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 28.0 minutes per game.
Allen also appeared in all nine playoff games before his team’s second round exit at the hands of the Indiana Pacers.
