Netflix Just Handed James Bond Fanatics the Ultimate 60-Year Time Machine

Ryan Brennan | January 26, 2026

As the search for the next James Bond continues, Netflix knows exactly where to find the previous seven.

On Jan. 21, Amazon MGM Studios continued to ramp up excitement for its newest installment of the franchise by releasing all 25 of its hit films on rival streaming service Netflix — and fans are excited.

That’s right. The entire “James Bond” collection, except 1967’s “Casino Royale,” is now on Netflix.

And fans are already making use of the convenience.

According to Forbes, it only took one day for three of the films to land in the Netflix top 10 list: “No Time to Die” (2021), “Spectre” (2015) and “Skyfall” (2012) — all of which star Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Here’s a full list of Netflix’s James Bond movies in order:

  1. Dr. No” (1962) - Sean Connery
  2. From Russia with Love” (1963) - Sean Connery
  3. Goldfinger” (1964) - Sean Connery
  4. Thunderball” (1965) - Sean Connery

  7. Diamonds Are Forever” (1971) - Sean Connery
  8. Live and Let Die” (1973) - Roger Moore

  10. The Spy Who Loved Me” (1977) - Roger Moore
  11. Moonraker” (1979) - Roger Moore
  12. For Your Eyes Only” (1981) - Roger Moore
  13. Octopussy” (1983) - Roger Moore
  14. Never Say Never Again” (1983) - Sean Connery
  15. A View to a Kill” (1985) - Roger Moore
  16. The Living Daylights” (1987) - Timothy Dalton
  17. Licence to Kill” (1989) - Timothy Dalton
  18. GoldenEye” (1995) - Pierce Brosnan
  19. Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997) - Pierce Brosnan
  20. The World Is Not Enough” (1999) - Pierce Brosnan
  21. Die Another Day” (2002) - Pierce Brosnan
  22. Casino Royale” (2006) - Daniel Craig
  23. Quantum of Solace” (2008) - Daniel Craig
  24. Skyfall” (2012) - Daniel Craig
  25. Spectre” (2015) - Daniel Craig
  26. No Time to Die” (2021) - Daniel Craig

The collection being available on Netflix is a big deal — especially since the movies are owned by one of its biggest competitors and are only available to rent or buy (not included for free) on Prime Video.

Early reports indicate that the collection will be taken down from Netflix in approximately three months.

“When Amazon acquired MGM, the plan was to continue licensing MGM’s iconic library to streaming and television partners around the world,” said Chris Ottinger of Amazon MGM Studios, according to Variety.

“Bringing these iconic films and shows to Netflix is part of that continued strategy,” he added.

With 2026 in full swing, fans are growing restless as they await the next installment of the franchise.

The most recent installment, “No Time to Die,” was released in 2021 and it came six years after 2015’s “Spectre,” meaning fans have only been gifted two James Bond movies over the past 10 years.

The six-year wait is unprecedented — and has only happened one other time between 1989’s “Licence to Kill” and 1995’s “GoldenEye.”

And much like that time period, James Bond is now in another transition era.

“Licence to Kill” was Timothy Dalton’s final portrayal of James Bond, while “GoldenEye” marked the beginning of Pierce Brosnan’s iconic reign.

And now, six years since the release of Daniel Craig’s “No Time to Die,” Amazon is looking for a new star.

According to Roger Friedman, “Euphoria” actor Jacob Elordi reportedly met with James Bond producers and director Denis Villeneuve and is in strong contention to become the next James Bond actor

If so, then it would make Elordi the youngest 007 star in James Bond history.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the earliest start date for filming Bond 26 is expected in 2027, meaning it’s unlikely fans see a release date until at least 2028.
