“I love you mom, everything I do is for you."
Influencer Dr. Lizzie Kieffer is sharing devastating news.
In an April 26 statement shared on her Instagram account, Kieffer, who is best known for sharing pregnancy, postpartum, and pelvic floor workouts, revealed that her 1-year-old daughter has died.
“We are shattered,” the physical therapist began the statement. “Wednesday we woke up to a nightmare that we never could have ever imagined becoming our reality.”
“Our Lily passed away,” she continued. “Our hearts, our bodies, our souls ache for her as she was the purist of beings and brought light to every single space she filled. Our days are written before we were even formed, and in Lily's 374 days of life, she taught us more than I think many could in their lifetime.”
As Kieffer shared publicly in her statement, Lily was found to have a “large mass on her brain” that they were unaware of, revealing Lily at the time of death didn’t show any signs.
According to Kieffer and her family, they currently “don’t have answers,” but further testing is being done to hopefully find those answers.

“We don't know why this is God's plan for our lives. And we will never fully understand this mystery until we see her again one day. What we do know is God is faithful and brings light to the darkest of places,” Kieffer continued.
Kieffer said that they know Lily “is being held so tight by Jesus and loved ones in heaven. And probably playing in her ball pit or riding in her little red car up there.”
She continued saying “we feel her.”
“Lilybug, you are our angel. And we know you'll always be with us.
Daddy, Mommy, Mia & new baby love you so damn much and we miss you every single second,” Kieffer wrote.
On March 2, she announced that they were expecting another child in September. Lily was the star of their pregnancy announcement.
