What would have been a normal routine trip took an unexpected turn when a pregnant woman in San Francisco gave birth in the backseat of a Waymo robotaxi.
Tragedy has struck the Faulk family again.
On Wednesday, December 10 it was announced that that former LSU and New England Patriots star Kevin Faulk’s daughter, Tanasha Faulk, died on Saturday, December 6.
According to a report from the Acadian Advocate, Tanasha passed away at Oschner Lafayette General Medical Center. She was 30 years old.
As the obituary written on Tanasha’s behalf reads, she was a mom of three daughters, who are described as her “greatest blessing.”
“Family was the center of Tanasha’s world, especially her three daughters, who were the greatest blessings of her life. Being their mother brought her so much joy and she was immensely proud watching them grow and learn. Tanasha also found joy in holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, and especially Mardi Gras. She loved to cook and was happiest when preparing meals that brought people together,” the obituary read.
In addition to Tanasha, Kevin Faulk and his wife Latisha are also parents to Kevione Faulk, Kevin Faulk Jr., Tionne Lewis, Tavion Faulk, and Kevin Faulk, III.
Tragically Kevin Faulk Jr. passed away as an infant. Kevione died four years ago on September 14, 2021, at the age of 19. At the time, Kevione was a student at LSU and worked for LSU's football team where her dad was the running backs coach.
Kevione’s cause of death remains undisclosed, at least to the public. Tanasha’s cause of death also remains unknown to the public.
According to her obituary, she is also survived by her “companion of five years” Isaac Louis and a large extended family.
Kevin Faulk was a state champion high school running back before he became a star at LSU and was drafted by the Patriots in 1999, where he won three Super Bowls under Bill Belicheck and Tom Brady.
