A search warrant application obtained by The Arizona Republic, new information regarding influencer Emilie Kiser’s son’s drowning is being revealed.
According to the Arizona Republic, Emilie Kiser’s husband, Brady Kiser, was home with their two sons, 3-year-old Trigg and 2-month-old Teddy, when the tragic accident occurred. Emilie Kiser was out with friends, Brady Kiser told police.
As the search warrant application details, Trigg was playing outside near their pool after dinner. According to Brady, Trigg playing near the pool wasn’t uncommon because the pool often has a cover on it.
The Arizona Republic reports that Brady Kiser then told police “he lost sight of Trigg for three to five minutes” while tending to Teddy “before finding the boy floating in the pool.”
Brady Kiser continued telling police that “once he saw that Trigg was in the pool, he jumped in to get the boy and called 911.”
According to AZ Central, police first responded to calls from the Kiser residence of a possible drowning just before 6 p.m. local time on Monday, May 12.
Trigg was reportedly taken to Chandler Regional Medical Center and then later transferred to Phoenix Children's Hospital. He later died on Sunday, May 18.
Police and the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner confirmed the news of Trigg’s death, according to NBC News.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child's family and loved ones during this unimaginable time," Chandler police spokesperson Sonu Wasu said in a previous statement.
An investigation into what happened was closed on June 2, Us Weekly confirmed.
Trigg was often featured on Emilie Kiser’s social media accounts. She and her husband, Brady Kiser, recently welcomed their second child into the world in March.
In April, Emilie Kiser shared a sweet video of Trigg meeting his younger brother, Teddy.
Neither Emilie nor Brady Kiser have issued a public statement regarding their son’s passing.
Emilie Kiser’s close friend, fellow influencer, Avery Woods, was seen wearing a tribute to Trigg in her first video since the accident.
On Monday, June 2, Woods returned to social media sharing a “get ready with me” style video that she has since removed from her platforms.
Woods didn’t say anything, instead put makeup on while music played in the background. She was also seen wearing several necklaces.
One necklace was a pair of angel wings. The other was a silver necklace with a round pendant. Etched on the pendent was the name “Trigg.”
