A completed ‘John Tucker Must Die’ sequel script sits at a studio gathering dust.
Avery Katherine Wood is opening up about an emotional end to a long chapter.
The popular TikTok influencer took to social media to share that she and her high school sweetheart, Carson Cope, have mutually decided to go their separate ways after nearly four years of dating.
"This video is gonna be very hard to get through, so I'm asking for grace from you guys," she began the video with tears in her eyes.
"Carson and I had to make a very [grown-up] decision to go our own separate ways. This was a very hard decision," she shared. "He is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me.”

Wood went on to admit that she and Carson “both love each other so much,” but their decision to break up stemmed from their lives not being “aligned how they used to be.”
"We fell in love when we were 15, and we were just two pieces of cardboard," she explained.
"And then over time, we became puzzle pieces, and our puzzle pieces just don't fit," she continued. "And that is not him. That is not me. It is both of us together — we are a team."
According to People, Avery Katherine Wood and Carson Cope met as freshman in high school.
Carson regularly appeared in Wood’s TikTok videos throughout high school, but has been featured less frequently ever since the two began a long-distance relationship due to their respective college journeys.
Wood currently attends the University of Florida, while Cope attends Eastern University in Pennsylvania.
"It, like, actually makes me wanna cry," Wood said in an April 4 TikTok video after finishing her first year of college. "Like, the fact that I found such strong love so early on. I'm just so thankful."

In that video, Wood shared some of her advice for others navigating a long-distance relationship.
“If you love somebody, you are willing to make it work,” she said.
“One thing that I did was go into it with such an open and positive mind,” she continued. “I was looking at it as a new beginning, so to speak, and I knew that we were going to make it work.”
Cope’s last appearance on Wood’s TikTok was on Jan. 3 when the two were listing some of the things they love most about each other.

“I’m going to keep creating content, but I don’t want you guys to think that just because I’m creating content that everything has moved on or I’m still not healing,” she added.
Wood went on to admit that creating content gives her a “sense of peace and normality in (her) life.”
“Of course I’m still healing. That is so long of my life that I spent with someone,” she continued. “And I can only hope and pray that I can continue making content even with this situation going on.”
Many of Wood’s fans and followers took to the comment section to offer their support and understanding.
