“They got him on camera, read for it and I said ‘Wow, he can hold the frame, he’s got the instinct for it.”
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is sharing a warning for parents everywhere.
On Sept. 4, the CPSC recalled 23,000 URMYWO baby loungers sold by Pomona on Amazon due to a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation — as well as posing a fall hazard risk.
According to the CPSC, the infant loungers “violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products.”
The hazard is a result of the lounger’s sides being too short, making them unable to safely secure an infant, and the padding being too thick, which can suffocate the baby.

The loungers, which were manufactured in China and sold between January 2024 and April 2025, also have an enclosed opening that the baby can fall out of or become trapped in, per the report.
“These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants, posing a risk of serious injury or death,” the CPSC added in the warning.
Parents who purchased a URMYWO baby lounger from Amazon — specifically the “grey feather” style — should stop using the product immediately and request a full refund by contacting Pomona.
According to the report, parents should “remove the sleeping pad, cut up the sides of the baby loungers and the sleeping pad and email a photo of the destroyed lounger to urmyworecall@yundnetwork.com.”
