It’s already November, which means it’s time to start bringing back the Elf on the Shelf tradition.
Ayesha Curry never thought she would give birth to a picky eater — but she did.
The 36-year-old restaurateur and cookbook author has plenty of mouths to feed as a mother to four kids — Riley, 12, Ryan, 9, Cannon, 6, and Caius, 1 — with her husband and NBA player Steph Curry.
And they don’t always make it easy for her when it comes time to eat.

“My oldest son is the pickiest eater,” Ayesha Curry said of her 6-year-old son, Cannon, in an interview with People, published June 22, at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado.
She was at the event to promote her wine brand, Domaine Curry, and restaurant, International Smoke.
“People told me, ‘There's always going to be one,’ and I was like so arrogant and was like, ‘There's no way,’” Ayesha Curry joked. “But I have a mac and cheese kid. Is what it is!”
According to the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, anywhere from 30-50% of parents say their toddler is a picky eater — so Ayesha Curry lucked out with 25% of her kids being picky.
But even her husband has her switching up the game day menu to meet his dietary needs.
“For the majority of his career, I would make a game day pasta, and then the past five years, four years, that shifted because he altered his workout a little bit,” she explained to People.
Now that he needs “different nutrients at different times,” Ayesha Curry says things have “shifted.”
“And so now on game days when he’s home, I make him breakfast, but then we skip the game day pasta,” she added.
Ayesha Curry looks forward to anniversary trip with husband
Ayesha Curry’s relationship with Steph Curry started as a friendship when they were teenagers.
The pair first met at church in Charlotte, North Carolina in the early 2000s, according to Us Weekly. Steph Curry was 15 and Ayesha Curry was 14 at the time.
"He was the cute boy at church that all of the girls were obsessed with, so I made a generalization that maybe he wasn't for me,” Ayesha Curry said of her husband in a 2020 interview with People.
Sparks didn’t start flying for the couple until 2008, when they reconnected and went on their first date.
Steph Curry proposed to Ayesha Curry in 2010, one year after he was drafted by the Golden State Warriors, and the couple tied the knot later that year, per People.
On July 30, the couple will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary.
While talking to People at the Food & Wine Classic, Ayesha Curry said she is “looking forward” to the couple’s anniversary trip — though she didn’t dish on where the two were going.
On June 15, Ayesha Curry took to Instagram to share a special tribute for her husband on Father’s Day.
The best and then some. We love @stephencurry30 so much!!! The best dad in the world. Our babies are obsessed and in awe of him (as am I) and it is such a blessing to watch,” she wrote in the caption.
