Blac Chyna issues co-parenting advice for parents in custody battle. ‘Mind your own business’

Ryan Brennan | August 19, 2025

Blac Chyna gave fans an update on her co-parenting situation with exes Rob Kardashian and Tyga.

The 37-year-old model, rapper and actress shares a 12-year-old son named King Cairo with fellow rapper Tyga and an 8-year-old daughter named Dream Renée with Kardashian, according to People

In a recent interview with People, published Aug. 12, Chyna revealed that she’s in a great place with both exes.

“My co-parenting with Rob is 100 percent amazing,” she told the outlet. “For parents that’s going through it right now, I promise you, things do get better.”

“Oh, me and Tyga, we co-parent perfectly. Everybody is, like, Kumbaya,” she said of her son’s father.

Chyna, who now goes by Angela White, went on to issue some sound advice for anyone having issues with their own coparenting situation.

“If you’re going through a custody battle or anything of the sort, I think the main thing for the other parent is to mind their own business,” she said in the interview.

“Sometimes we do have to mind our own business because sometimes we’ll look in and we might think that we know what the other parent is doing, but it could be the total opposite thing,” she added.

Chyna also said that, no matter what happens, your kids should always come first.

“Sometimes parents, they try to make it about themselves, and you have to do what’s best for the child,” she told People.

As for what not to do when co-parenting, Chyna said to avoid putting your kid(s) in the middle of it.

“Don’t do that. Don’t do that because sometimes, it’ll put the pressure on the child when they don’t deserve that at all,” she continued. “So, don’t do that, or don’t say little slick little things around the child.”

Blac Chyna’s comments come after years of custody battles

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian first settled their custody battle in 2017 when they agreed to a joint custody schedule with their daughter, according to Vanity Fair.

The former couple reached a new agreement in 2020 that gave them both “physical custody on an alternate week schedule,” per the outlet.

As for Blac Chyna and Tyga, they finalized their years-long custody battle in December 2023, per TMZ.

The pair both share joint legal and physical custody over King Cairo, and they each have a say in decisions regarding their son’s health, education and general welfare.

While talking to People, Chyna doubled down on her co-parenting advice when in a custody battle.

“But I think mind your own business and then have good communication skills. But I mean if you’re already in a custody battle, that might be hard,” she told the outlet.

“Mind your own business. I’m sticking with that,” she concluded.

And if you come across a co-parent who doesn’t want to talk, Chyna says there are ways around it.

“If it’s a parent that doesn’t want to talk and the other one does because that does happen, there are apps that you can get to where you can monitor the messages,” she explains. “So, they can do that also, too.”

Blac Chyna and Tyga welcomed their son in 2012 and got engaged shortly after, but announced their separation in 2014, according to Hot New Hip Hop.

She went on to welcome daughter Dream with Kardashian in 2016 before announcing their split six months later, per People.
